More time to heal off rough series is good. May just be enough for TT to draw in too. - NuckUp
I'd rather get after it now. Canucks are playing hot winning 3 in a row where the blues shat the bed in their round Robin series. They were outshot over their 3 games by nearly a 2-1 margin. |

3-0 in a pivotal game five? No excuse for a “high powered” offence like that.
Leafs are a team that’s built for the draft. - bloatedmosquito
I think the Leafs scored three even strength goals the whole series, not gonna win like that. |

Yep, and no major injuries to any key players, the boys should be ready to go for game 1. |

They’ve played five games since March. That’s what you are calling old and wrong?
In March, Marky was injured and the defence was in shambles. They were 1-4 in their last 5 games before the break. It was not looking good. No narrative. Just truth. - bloatedmosquito
The old narrative of Green tinkering with lines. Wrong which you don't admit as in he didn't do it in the Wild Series.
Shambles, they had a rough patch and were turning it around with BB back. So your trend narrative assumes negatives without including the facts that things were changing. They were just as likely to make it in the PO then the presumption you posted. |

Brock coming back wouldn’t have made an ounce of difference if Marky was unable to go. Marky was the engine that was driving this season’s success. That is a fact regardless of your fan-boy enthusiasm. |

The hot play theory works better with 1 or 2 days off but getting to 3/4 its more of the same. They just have to pick up where they left off with intensity.
What the extra day does give is healing time which is invaluable. Being able to add TT to the top 6 is a real bonus. Plus for a young underdog team the extra practice time helps Canucks more as well. |

Bad boy bashing the truth doesn't alter facts. Demko was rounding out and the game they won against the Islanders, with BB back too, is a fact of the trending. Just like they took off after beating Vegas for a 7 game win streak. You discount team building moments to stick in this lucky Covid happened narrative. This "Canucks couldn't make the playoffs without Covid shutdown" is the ultimate hater/troll shtick and no one needs to be a fanboy to tell you that's a bunch of crock. |

Even if he did it wouldn’t matter. They would have a bunch of superstars and fill in the rest of the team with scraps. That’s what keeps them from succeeding now.

I can see the Leafs making some major changes. No depth or grit, not to mention their defence is horrible beyond Reilly and Muzzin. |

Lol yes they have no center for him but I'd rather keep him in the Eastern Conference. We don't need new talent on Western Conference teams to hound the Canucks. |
