That was the little girl when the Blues won the cup. I don't mean to say this has been a long season but the little darling is all grown up now.

Could see that. We see LE as a weight, but TG and Bo both sing his praise on that line...
- NewYorkNuck

Sweets serves a purpose when needed but can't score if his life depended on it. Thus TT is better option for top 6 if good to go.

Then its a toss up if Green wants more PK or toughness over Zacmac and LE for 4th line.

Please keep OJ in and Benn as injury reserve unless its to replace Stecher cause Benn sucks as LD.

Do you leave Boeser with the Lotto line?

Beagle's played great, can't dump him now. I love what Zack brings but he doesn't have as round of a game as Beagle.

I nail gunned my hand with a 3" spike. It went the width of my hand buried to the head almost. The copper wires were in. That was fun when the emergency room pulled it. Somehow I missed all the bones in my hand. You could see the nail the entire width of my palm about 1/4" under the skin. I didnt even feel it go it. In fact it didnt hurt until I was sitting in the waiting room.

I once watched my dad put a filleting knife clean into the palm of his hand while trying to pry apart some frozen bait. Didn't realize until he had a cloth on it that he was dripping blood out the back, the hole went all the way through. Somehow he missed all tendons/muscles, no permanent damage apart from a little scar.

I'd be surprised if Green pulled LE off Horvat's line. He's loved that trio together since he dumped Boeser on the 3rd line back in the regular season. Expect TT to be on the 3rd for this series if he's healthy enough.
- boonerbuck

Realistically I'd be fine with Toffoli on the 3rd line in for ZacMac if Loui keeps playing well.

I consider TT the extra guy given Boesers return, he can go wherever.

Good for Boeser.

I think the time off has helped him to see what it takes. Even though he was productive there were flaws in his game. He looks like a sold two way forward now.

My two biggest takes from his game now is he is not a defensive liability and he is now going to the hard to play in areas. It looks like JTM riding his ass has payed off.

JTM Petey BB
Pearson Bo LE
Rous Sutter TT
Motte Beag JV/Zack

I feel a little disappointed in TT being with Sutter and Rous, but if Greener wants to keep LE with Bo as an offensive shut down line (since they potted two in the final game), I can see that.

I also like what Zack brings every shift more than Jake, especially if they're only getting 8 minutes a game.

The fact that it's tough to fit everyone in a single lineup because of talent and good recent play is kind of a great problem to have. Green will have lots of options if he needs to change things up vs. St Louis.

That is what I keep thinking too . What a good problem to have.

I was reading Fantenberg and Gaudette are fit to play but coaches choice is keeping them out of the lineup.

I think next season the top priority aside from Marky is the right side D. I think Tanev will get a proper offer from Benning and then it comes down to who replaces Stecher or do you keep him.

For me you can only afford to keep him if he's willing to sign for reasonable money. Once you get over 2 mil that's pretty damn expensive compared to Rafferty at 700k

I think they do what they did with señor poo-a-lot: don't qualify him, resign him with a new deal.

For me it is do you want him or do you want an upgrade? Heart of a lion but for what he brings do you not prefer someone bigger , tougher , more talented?

I like his compete level and attitude, and his play is steady enough for a bottom pairing Dman. If you're worried about physical play, OJ or Benn is capable of providing that on his left.

I think he's a pretty solid bottom pairing guy, but he may want more opportunity than he's been getting. No way he passes Myers or Tanev on the depth chart.

St. Lou.....eh.

I think, like this plan, Brock is our key to victory.

Brock does his thing, Marky plays good.

OJ is not the least bit physical but that's okay.

I really like Stech's compete level and he is not a liability . He loves being a Canucks. There is very little to complain about his game. This is though a chance to upgrade a chance to go to the next level.

Any upcoming cheap free agents you see as an upgrade? I certainly wouldn't want to give anything up in a trade to fill a position we are already fairly comfortable at.

I think with Edler, Myers, and Tanev on the books, it's going to be hard to upgrade at that position unless you are trading for a guy on an ELC.

I think that Rafferty or Stetch could be used in a package to help move someone like Sutter. Though, with the playoffs Sutter is having, his value to a team like Edmonton may just be going up

All you have to do is call Bo the 3rd line C and Sutter the 2nd line C and Toffy is back in your top 6. Winky face
