So, only two teams had home ice advantage and both are out. When Edm and Tor said yes to being bubble cities I wonder if they expected their teams would be participating?
Of the Canadian teams with a chance to participate:
Canucks, Flames, and Canadiens advanced
Leafs, Oilers, and Jets eliminated
If I had to put money on which group were more likely to make it, I would have lost my money. Strange times indeed. |

My take is Tallon outlived being a GM but could fill the hole/role as a Pres. Take FA outta the picture & leave it to the hockey ppl. He has status that would benefit us. - Nighthawk

All above is solid.
Stecher imo a cap casualty.
Toffoli if healthy will be needed against the Blues.
My latest CapFriendly if you like to check it out for 2020/21

No to signing big name free agents. 9 mill tied up in Pietrangelo is going to make things much harder when signing Petey and Hughes.
I like the enthusiasm, but going the Toronto route – even if it's for D – is not helpful IMO. |

I always appreciate NH as a poster and a fan.
It is an aggressive line up but probably not likely. There are a lot of questions .
I don't know how you pay Jake 2.25 and have him as your 14 th forward and pay Motte who takes a regular shift 1 mil.
I don't think they go with an all rookie line of Gauds Podk and Hogl.
I honestly question if Jake will be a Canuck next year.
I know fans here also have written off Leivo but have the Canucks? He is an 15-18 goal guy at 1.5 mil who beat out Jake every time when he was healthy.
I don't think they are moving on Roussel.
Other things that come into play are Ferlands LTIR. Will Sven show up to the State of NY to play for 1.6 mil next year? Lots of questions.

I'm interested how TT plays during this series, Green will have lots of weapons.
He'll need them.

How is it an all rookie line if Gaudette is on it? |

Does TT see the ice? Or does he wait until someone gets injured or there’s a beat down that forces Green to shakeup the lines? |

Too many forwards, something needs to give. I've always liked Leivo but I think we'll see some big changes this off season and some unpopular moves.
Pietrangelo is too expensive, i'd rather see someone younger with a reasonable contract acquired in a trade.

Don't know, but there will be injuries. 7 Game series, Green has a bit of a forward cushion (for the time being).

I think Jake is on the outs. Sutter will probably be moved too (his playoffs are definitely upping his value!) Ferland LTIR or retires with a job for the Canucks lined up. Leivo not resigned. Sven moved possibly. TT is iffy to resign.
The Canucks have too many forward as it is, with possibly adding Hoglander and Podkolzin at some point next year. |

If he's healthy, 100% knocks someone out of the lineup. His play and scoring ability is needed against the Blues. |

I would be shocked to see them go after Pietrangelo. I am going to wait and see on Lievo. |

How? I thought they eliminated it. Someone bring it in from outside? - bloatedmosquito
Yeah.
People still allowed to return home.
They are quarantined for 14 days.
Something got through.
Kinda inevitable. |

Hey Reuby, just a note on teams allowing AHL players to play in rival markets (from the Lind discussion earlier) - the MAF trade to Chicago is for an AHL player that will continue to play for Chicago’s AHL team, rather than Vegas’.
