Hedman being extremely injured and soft brained last year was basically why they lost last year...along with Kucherov turning into Matt Cooke.

Columbus lost a lot of that fire power they had last season, but somehow had a good season, still. But it's not the team that beat Tampa last year.

the "home-ice advantage" is basically non-existent, except for the last line change, so the stakes weren't the same imo

Sens ran into a team with 3 HOFers in their prime in the SCF. Not sure you can blame them. Finnish Flash, Nieds, Pronger, JS Giguere at the second top of his game, a young Getzlaf and Perry. That Ducks team was quietly ridiculous.
