I wonder how many of the team will consider trading that #1?
Like if they could get 3 and Ottawa's late 1st or even 3 and 5 (plus other things going both ways)? I could see the Leafs, Oilers, and maybe even the Pens try that.
Also I think if the Leafs get #1, they try to trade or one of Marner and Tavares.
Might be an interesting off-season... all 3 weeks of it?

Really? Because the way I see it, the guy could have been a top 10 pick easily but injuries are the main concern with him.
It feels like a boom or bust pick and I'd be ok with that.

Not that gifted offensively honestly i see him as an energy 3rd liner which we have way too many, Mercer is ahead offense-wise, Bourque is a little less fast Beauvilier. At 16th, unless a F falls, i see them go for Guhle/Wallinder... |
