Yes because the losing teams go into lottery. Leafs pick is lottery protectednor it goes to carolina. - systemtool
Nah man it's 1/8.
If you don't win the lottery it is based on points percentage in regular season. |

Well the Leafs have a 1/8 chance of winning the lottery but if anyone else wins it then the Leafs are picking no better than 13th overall
unless slots 9 and 10 are up to lottery as well but pretty sure it's in order of points for teams that lost in qualifying round, no?

Vlad is a hunk - Canada Cup
The macho martial ra-ra hunk factor among male leaders and Covid:
Trump - USA a well known freak-show
Putin - Russia very bad numbers
Bolsanaro - Outdoing Trump in being Trump and Brazil is a disaster
Modi (boasts of his chest girth and bombing Pakistan) - India is getting very bad.
Duterte - Phillipines with worst Covid numbers in East Asia by far.
Erdogan - After some initial success, cases now spiraling out of control.

Anybody know where to get a full replay of the Bowen broadcast? I'd love to listen to his emotional ramp up for the last half of the 3rd and OT.
Edit: google not being overly helpful |

Only if you omit the nonsensical play where he stood just inside his own blueline with the puck for about 10 seconds, eventually passed the puck right into the Columbus player, panicked, fell down, and gave up the goal that appeared to be the final nail in the coffin.
But ya, looked pretty good otherwise.

And Taiwan, and the Scottish Sturgeon (deaths in Scotland per Capita are 1/2 that of the UK).
Macho leaders play up the military and the police to preserve life and security for their citizens. And then.... they preside over the greatest loss of life and ruination since world wars.
Anyway, I am not gonna hijack this thread. Nice win yesterday fellas. Highly improbable. 6 on 5 for 5 mins, and the absence of Werenski was probably incredible crucial. |

Just a complete clusterfrank on the Columbus PK. Two guys rush the defenceman on the point. Matthews is the pnly player on the entire right side of the rink. |

I had already ran out of booze by the time Hyman scored the equalizer, or I would have drained the rest of the bottle right then and there. Watching Matthews' marvelous mustache complete the win was worthy of a fresh bottle of it's own. I am buying a new one today and will start out the night heavy to make up for not properly celebrating last night. Is it normal for Leafs' hockey to make a person drink heavily? LOL.

I think the wording you're looking for is "Is it normal to use Leafs' hockey as an excuse to drink heavily"

Macron won over Rutte in allowing EU grants to southern EU states. But in order to pass the financial agreement that is Merkel's last hurrah, they ignored the progressive whittling away of human rights by Orban and Duda. Was this wise?
Further, with the UK out of the EU, and Trump's mind-boggling withdrawal of troops from Germany, Putin is doing cartwheels in the Kremlin.
With Erdogan biding his time in Ankara, threatening to turn on the tap of refugees anytime he does not get his way, is the fall of liberal democracy in Europe just a matter of time?

I was kind of poopting on him for not being a stud #1 and not bringing the requisite intensity. May my soul burn in hell.
When I saw him break his stick on the bench after going down 3-0:

I mean God forbid a Leafs fan getting excited about watching their team score 3 goals in 4 minutes to force OT where they would eventually win thus staving off elimination. What is this world coming to? |
