Whoever is giving up on Boqvist has completely lost it. I completely agree with pretty much everything here.

Yes Roger said if him Anderson, McLeod or Bastia don’t stick this year than it may be a good idea for a “fresh start” for them. Definitely don’t agree with Anderson as he looked pretty good last year. I know McLeod and Bastian haven’t lived up to where they were picked yet but don’t we have these guys as RFA eligible for at least the next few years? Unless it’s in a trade, would not give up on them either

Very excited to watch Bing this upcoming season. They should have atleast 3 rookies on the backend(Walsh, Bahl, and Okhotyuk) and maybe even a 4th if Smith doesnt make the big squad. Plus adding Foote up front, an infusion of pretty good young talent to a team that was rolling and found their groove to end this past season. They should be a fun team to watch

Ah must've read over that. I would actually agree on McLeod and Bastian, as much as I don't mind keeping them around. It's going to get real crowded and if they can crack a lineup somewhere else, it would be best for them. This will be their best chance.

I think Walsh has a very real chance of making the NHL out of camp. He's 21, produced very well in the NCAA and has historically had good showings at development camp.

I'm trying to count, is there room for Smith and Walsh? Without Vats or Greene, they could very well force themselves onto the roster even if we sign someone like Dillon to fill it out.

I dont think he will, and theres no reason to rush him either. While he was productive at Harvard, he really showed he still really needed development time in terms of the defensive part of the game. Realistically, if the NCAA was going on as normal he should have, and probably would have, went back to play his senior year. The AHL time will suite him greatly in the long term though. Smith is the only one of him/Walsh/Bahl/Foote that has a legit shot at making the team out of camp, and even for Smith i think it'd be beneficial to start him in the AHL, even if its for just a few games. Give them all good minutes in the AHL instead of playing sheltered minutes or even in and out of the press box in the NHL. Again i say, there is no reason to rush these guys at all.

Yup. Completely agree. Nice to see we kept a decent prospect.

No way you give up on Boqvist after this season, will only be his 2nd year on NA ice - he is a top 3 prospect in our system still

I’d like Drysdale or Sanderson with the 7th pick and then take a forward or two with 18/20. Would be okay with Askarov there as long as we grab a defensemen with one of the other 2 picks

If not those 2 give me Rossi, Raymond, Holtz, Perfetti in that order

For 18/20 hopefully Jarvis falls to us

Askarov goes to the Canes with the leafs 1st if Toronto doesn't win the lottery
