Yup it was the ball with the odds they would have had if the draft was normal that was pulled so it would be perfect really.

Tampa would be quite an uphill battle, they are so much more talented than we are. The Flyers would be a better match for us without a doubt.

um, logic would tell me I should be, since TB have a poopload of talent (no offense to PHI, kick ). in either case the habs will be the underdog again. with KK and Suzuki doing so well, perhaps the matchup will be better than it was before against the flyers...

Hell yes. Hawks are the youngest team in this PO. This is good experience for the kids. There was a 87.5% chance they weren't winning #1. Really isn't much difference in the 7 to 20 range. Add in the Hawks have picked some good players in those spots and I am fairly confident that Kelley and his staff will find someone good. McNeil is this group's only whiff in that range. However, mitigated by the fact Danault was a mid 20's pick in that same draft.
