Artemi Panarin, Sergei Bobrovsky and Matt Duchene have now all been eliminated before the Columbus Blue Jackets have.

Man, feel torn for the Canadiens. They need the high draft pick more than the playoffs, but everyone wants to win...

Well there we go. Does Pitts start to dismantle their team? Trade Malkin?

- NewYorkNuck

This is and will be hilarious until Pit gets the #1 pick next week.

I'm happy for Weber, the guy got shipped off from a team about to spend some years contending to one that has been in shambles. Good for him to get a series win.

That said, I bet they get crushed in the 1st round.

Three elimination games down. Three teams finish the job. And two were lower-seeded: Arizona & Montreal.

Northy, you can add Phil Kessel lasted longer than the Pittsburgh Penguins to your list.

Next up: Will Taylor Hall outlast the Oilers?

The vibe is tense but committed among the hometown fans here in Edmonton. Heavy rain & wind earlier, but they're drying off the picnic tables at the outdoor viewing areas at the bars...

Ooh that's true that's another good one. I hope Hall outlasts EDM, the more upsets the better far as I'm concerned

It would really be crazy if both host cities were out before the playoffs even begin.

Who are they aiming to play right now, Philly or Tampa?

Pitts feels like the post-Cup run Canucks. Still have the star power, but are losing in the playoffs to teams they should beat. What's the stat they were saying on the broadcast, they've lost 9 of their last 10 playoff games?

Carol is it an upset if the Canucks beat the Wild? Given they lost the 1st game and are the "inexperienced" team.... \

Oil losing would help Canucks in seeding opponent.

Boeser is skating better than he ever has, that time off was massive for him.
- Nucker101

this post isn't directed at you...BUT

Young players can become better skaters? what a concept!!!

How many posters in here have I heard say "His skating sucks, he is what he is. he'll never improve." "He's slow as balls, trade him now". "HIs shot isn't what it used to be, get rid of him"

The fawking lack of patience in here is mind boggling - along with the fact that a shockingly large number of people think that once a kid reaches 21-23, they are what they are. Zero room for growth or improvement.

Yeah they play whoever wins tomorrow.

I would think they'd probably prefer Philly. One of Philly's strengths is goaltending and MTL has them beat there.

As long as it stays with an Eastern team. Though wouldn't mind seeing Crosby with an elite winger before he becomes just a novelty player.

If I may add, the trade Dumba for Boeser movement during the season. And also trade Boeser for a D and cap space to sign TT during the pause. Fun times.

I really admire what the blue jackets are doing. I also love their play style. Glad to see them doing so well while most people had them as massive underdogs

So if the Oilers lose and Canucks win, the Canucks would be the highest seeded Western Conf team... not shabby. They'd end up playing the loser of the Stars vs Blues game that's on Sunday night.

Hopefully it's Dallas. They've gone 0-2 with 3 GF and 9 GA so far.

I still don't want TT to just walk though. BB is proving his worth so far in this series and the talk for Dumba back in the day...
