Montreal getting away with 2 takedowns in 6 seconds.

I can't help but think if they added Rod to that third line they might have something. Lot's of speed buzzing around. Marleau looks done. Matt Cullen done.

No changes in the blue line per Bourque. (frank)ing clown shoes lol.

Yeah i think I’m to the point where I’m done with Sullivan unless we literally win the cup. There is no one in the world that doesn’t know Johnson is bad besides him.

The Pens are playing like this is a pre-season game.

I actually believe Sheary might be able to help the 3rd line. Add some speed to that line and get him away from those tough defensive matchups.
- madmike71

If people just watch Sheary, losing just about every puck and board battle comes at a cost. Sure, he looks good on the highlight reel for his one or two good plays per game, but it's like eating candy bars for dinner. He's lost several battles so far. Conversely, Rust has won some which extend zone time and generate more chances.

And of course we then get the high stick, which was a high stick but wouldn't of happened if they call a trip on the Habs. Same poop happens game 3. They didn't call the trip when Dumo was tripped and the habs score after that. BS

Marshall: The strategy so far seems to be to take as much time as possible on the breakout to let Montreal set up so every zone entry is a 3v5 situation. Montreal hasn’t really been threatened and is comfortably keeping everything outside.

I got excited when I saw Rust with Crosby but now it's back to Sheary and he promptly has a bad turnover to end the zone time. Ugh.

Now another promising chance ends because Sheary falls twice during a puck battle and zone time over. He is like a child against men.

I'm with you. I think he can be a serviceable player in the right role, but top 6 isn't it.

Gotta say.... Geno is the most disappointing player. I thought he would dominate. He isn't.

Better than not switching it up. Switching some RW’s isn’t enough. Get geno and Sid together for a shift or two. Put jake with geno and rust. Do something

Third in ice time among #Pens that period? You guessed it. Jack Johnson. Partially due to that one PK. But, yeah.
