Stupid covid cup question. How come the flyers get last change today? Wash came ahead of them in reg season.

Flyers are the designated home team. Doesn't have anything to do with regular season records.

Sweet. So determined by Rock Paper Scissors between Bill Daly and Gary?

Sorry this is late, but there is a basis for regular season standings factoring into the six game round robin. According to the round robin schedule, it appears the top two teams, #1 Boston and #2 Tampa, each get two home games out of the three games they each play. While the bottom two teams, #3 Washington and the Flyers (4th in the East), each get one home game out of the three games they each play.
The same is the case for the west. The #1 St Louis and #2 Colorado both get two home games and one away game each, while #3 Las Vegas and #4 Dallas both get one home game and two away games each.
Beyond that, determining which game was picked as the lone Flyers home game, seemed to be a random result. I would have thought it would be the lowest placed team the Flyers play—hence Washington—but that's not exactly the case. That's because I see that #3 Washington's only home game is against #1 Boston tomorrow. If it was against the lower of the seeds, Washington's home game should have been the game against #2 Tampa that happened this past Monday, August 3rd, where they were actually the visiting team.
