Nah. There are some damn good and objective Flyers fans. The proof is in Meltzer, who I believe to be quite objective despite his optimism, and people follow him around here like the Pied Piper.

Sure, we have some old school guys who still believe in the Philly Flu, and who are as rough around the edges as they come, but that’s not all of us.

As far as a fan base, I think the Buzz Has a pretty solid group of posters. Outside of a few guys like brucey, who want nothing more than to turn the knife on other fans’ backs, it’s a pretty chill group of solid contributors.

Agreed. I didn't see Bunny soing anything JvR couldn't do at 5v5, ans JvR could factor into the PP.

It was a solid win. The greatest goal scorer in league history was shutdown today. The structure of the team was well managed. However, we need more from the other three lines outside of the Hayes lines and the PP needs to click.

If folks really can’t see the value in getting a depth player a game in the RR due to the fact that they haven’t seen game action since March and might be needed at a critical moment in the playoffs, I am surely unable to explain it well enough to be convincing.

Also, Caps played terrible D today. On all 3 goals you had the goal scorer completely open, with no one near him, in a very high danger area (because someone took their eyes of their man).
