Wow, sweet play by Rust and Zucker, especially Zucker.
- Hockey66

Marleau with a sweet screen. I don't believe Price saw the pass by Rust.

Meh - the guy got the puck and Murray was out of his crease.
- Hockey66

Yeah the one time I saw it I didn't really pay attention to where it occurred. He was way out of his crease.

Sorry, Dumoulin, no more power plays for the Pens because they had the nerve to actually score.

Nah, Simon is better at defense than Marleau lol
- j.boyd919

Yeah, they are quite different in a lot of ways (size most noticeably). I just need to retrain my brain. I still sometimes think JJ is Maatta and he hasn't been here for a long time!

I was gonna poop on Sullivan for sending the third pairing out there for the last shift of the 1st and castrating the Crosby unit, but Johltz had a good shift there.

Still gonna say you shouldn’t do that usually.

Not sure how the 1st line, especially Guentzel, didn't score that period.

Same thing happened on the goal against but I think that was just coincidence.

No, literally every beat person has been saying it. He's usually a rock but not this series.

Damnit - hockey game and soccer game both start at the same time. Both are in intermission now.

Seeing the Hornqvist goal replay I am happy that Paddy Hornqvist is finally living up to his “sniper” designation in NHL 18.

This happens to me all the time with the Penguins and Sixers. Their playoff schedules are always perfectly synced somehow and it kills me.

Jesse Marshall is pretty, pretty good at his job.
- Victoro311

Just read his column before this game. He diagnosed both of those PP goals. Best Pens writer by a large margin.

I'm glad there was room on the Athletic gravy train for him. Marshall deserves to be paid for his work.

Yeah, I feel a little guilty not giving one or the other my undivided attention.

Right now the NBA is still finishing its regular season so I don’t feel so bad, but anxiety season will be in full force if the Pens are still going in a few weeks.

He’s honestly the best writer/analyst for any of the teams I follow. And the Sixers gave a pretty good talent pool.

Just saying Isaias can go to hell! I have no power and won’t until Friday the earliest...it’s hot as balls and missing the game.
