He doesn’t have to play much, just give Ceci 25-28min. Problem solved - DrunkenCanuck

Ceci had a good game, better than half the leafs D. |

Muzzin took a puck in the face, I said the way it was a dead shot to his jaw could have fractured his jaw.
That (frank)ing dunce has been trying to jump on that for some reason ever since as if I was Max pronouncing his death, and he can't let it go. Yet, I've yet to see anyone else say a word.
In typical creten fashion his moment has finally arrived and he's passing on the opportunity to jump on max's commentary, and is still obsessing over the jaw as if someone else might finally be like 'oh right Joel said his jaw could have broke!' and his fruitless attempts to have a friend might find a payoff.
Yet crickets and he's still a redneck (frank) and nobody likes him. - joel878
and ironically it is cretin |

He looked fine to me. Seems like he was automatically the whipping boy when Gardiner left. Dubas likes him and will probably get him on a cheap long term deal this summer. |

Frankly, they should add Sandin as the 7th d-man and only carry 11 forwards. Double-shift AM34 and/or Snakevares with the 4th line on occasion. |

Cbus just didn’t have a lot of time in Leaf’s zone. Leaf forwards and D worked well together to keep them hemmed in, good forecheck, good pinching and covering. Leaf D got on pucks quicker in our zone and forwards were better positioned for quick outlet passes.
It helped make all the D look better. |

Correct opinion.
Ceci didn't handle the puck like a grenade and had a pretty solid game all around. We need more of that... desperately now that Muzzin is out. |

Yesterday, I was impressed with the play of a lot of Leafs.. Including Engvall. I hope that it is not Marincin that replaces Muzzin.. Muzzin has to self-quarantine for what 5 days after being released from hospital and have 2 negative tests in 4 days? |

Let's not get too excited here. Gotta think that Ceci, unless he accepts a drastic pay reduction, signs elsewhere. |

The past 3 games they’ve only allowed 3 goals.
TB and two against CBJs. Small sample size but they have a 3 game streak in playoff atmosphere games playing good D.
This is all about adjustments. Keefe took Torts to school last games...let’s see who wins next game. - Santo_44
I dont really consider what occurred prior to the bubble games.
Cause the 3 games before the TB game they were meh and complete crap against the sharks.
So pre bubble games just dont matter right now.
But for two games, their defensive play has been good. Mind you against one of the worst scoring teams in the league...but nonetheless. Good. Last night's game, I'd even say pretty darn good. |

Who else could go in Sandy or Rosen? I believe I read Muzzin gone for this series. |

Muzz back with the team at the hotel is promising.
Assuming Dermott slots up and Sandin/Marincin are in on the 3rd pairing. |

As much as I'd like to see if Sandin can rise to this occasion (I still trust him more than Marincin for obvious reasons), I don't know if I'd want to change up the forward line chemistry or risk any additional exhaustion. I'm not really sold that Spezza's 5-6 minutes of ice are really going to be missed, but I think the team respects him and values what he brings in the "intangibles" (just from things they've said and the visceral negative reaction to Babcock sitting him in game one of the season). |

I know, I just don't trust Marincin.
Yeah he's done for this series. Even if the injury is not as serious, he was outside the bubble when he went to the hospital, so he has to self-quarantine again |

Agreed.
I thought everyone played a good game yesterday. Just need Marner to quit it with the soft plays/turnovers. |

no one trusts Marincin.
I like Spezza, I think he's been fine in this series. I would go;
Rielly-Ceci
Dermott-Holl
Someone other than Marincin -Barrie
I think Sandin will get hit hard every shift |
