True story, my soon to be wife and I I'll call her Sue, were drinking way to much at the bar, you know tequila and all, last call comes about and she says she's okay to drive.
This is when the bridge on Liverpool road is getting widened, so she starts speeding south from Hwy 2 and I thought uhoh, better put on that seat belt.
One side of the brigde widening has those concrete pillar slabs they use and the opposite side has guardrails.
She's going so fast that she was going to hit a car in front of us which was oblivious to her so I yelled for her to hit the brakes, and boom we were sideways on the slabs and didn't we do a ninety degree turn straight across the road and hit the metal guardrails overlooking the 401.
All heard was glass smashing all around me and luckily that guardrail held.
The car is steaming, she's drunk and we're trying to get out of there but no go.
Jambed under the guardrail, 2 guys come walking up and help unjamb the car and the thing is steaming everywhere, so we back tracked and parked it Bobby Ribinos.
So we have To walk back over the bridge, cause i lived down Liverpool rd and by this time the cops were every where, Sue or who we are calling Sue was freaking out, I just said relax and keep on walking. We got home then there was , ah nevermind but the cops found that car and her the next day. She cried and got of with a slap on the wrist.
Did mention that her name is Sue? - bobbyisno1

Yes, my second date, my first date her mother tagged along.
Should have known better then and there, to bad she didn't tag along on the second date. I was within walking distance. |

Are you kidding me?
That was like 35 years ago, I think it was that cheap clear crap everybody serves. Sauza maybe.

You realize that if the Habs win the series that the likely opponent for the winner of the CBJ-Leafs series is the Broons?

Bruins will finish last in round robin and play Canes (#6 seed) or Pit (#5 seed) if they get through.
We’ll play either first or (second place round robin finisher if Habs win). |

So Leafs get Washington or Philly if they get by tortellini's squad?

Most likely. Would have been easier to figure out if we knew we were bottom seed. More variables now that Montreal might get through. But as it stands now, Habs get TBL, we get Phili. But Phili and Caps only played one game so...., |

I hope Muzzin is back soon, but I'm staying with my view that it is very likely he'll be out for a few months at least. Neck injuries are very difficult to predict as far as recovery times.

You're damn right they are, but still you're doing exactly that...!
And the "neck injuries are very difficult to predict" statement is what many doctors will say after a thorough examination - yet you feel it's kosher to do it just from watching it on a tv.
I've had 2 accidents with neck issues. The first one 2 different doctors said that I would just have a sore neck a few weeks - It bothered me for more than a year.
The 2nd one was more serious and the doctors agreed that I would never be able to do any sports and that I probably always was gonna have some pain - 6 months later I was ok.
You just never know with these things; not even the doctors do.
You should just stop with this nonsense. It's just stupid, Max.

you just supported my point that 'Muzzin back in 5 days' is a very optimistic point of view. |

Why do you insist on giving us your diagnoses, your predictions and your medical expertise in general.
You don't know any more than any of us. You have no "inside info" and you aren't a doctor. Nobody gives a poop what you think or predict. If you happen to be right we all know you made a guess. None of us is going to think, "Gee, Max was right. He must really know what he is talking about maybe my wife/girlfriend should visit him for a gynecological session."
Give it a rest. Nobody cares what you have to say. You are embarrassing yourself. |
