I know you’re joking - but you should never joke about the sacred 17 seconds of Saint Bickel and Saint Bolland.
- Chief4Feathers

This was up there, but no where near 17 seconds. That was a special history unto itself. Blessed be St Bolland

Two in 6 minutes for the win.

That was better than the 17 seconds against Boston.

#50 with 50 playoff wins. Very happy for Crow, he’s been a warrior over the years.

I'm not sure how I feel about that game. That win. But I'll take it.

Side note, Nugent-Hopkins looks like he came from the sperm bank of Brad Marchand.

B Da Man!

A win is a win, it felt like the olden days (ahem) when we had all the chances and could pull out the win. I know all of us were feeling it! I kept patient.

Keith (and Boqs) had a few mishaps and the rest of the D looked pretty strong and in addition were pressuring the O zone. Can't ask for anything better!

PP, let's just say keep moving your damn skates! Arrghh!

Highzy energy carried us!

Game on!

Hi DK, The Crow was solid and key saves when needed. Probably undermined in this win. Not alot but great saves when needed and kept his composure.

Wouldn't this just take the cake?

@cmasisak22

One more loss by each team from there being a 25 percent chance that Alexis Lafreniere is playing for *Edmonton* or Pittsburgh next season. Whoops.

The lottery is four days away.

After what i saw tonight, let's just say the Hawks have to win 1 more game, and you know the Hawks will let McDavid have at least 2 goals in the 1st period in game 4.

Very doubtful K looked strong, almost as much/not good enough as Crow. Crow was quiet in net, remember when that use to be a thing?!? Plus the covid thing/time off he was ready. Position-ally, and always ready to hold the net. Great tending tonight.

Oh for sure! I'll take the playoff excitement any day. Just wouldn't want to see EDM get another one or PIT get another superstar.

Hey BTD,

Game on! Toews is ready, hard to stop McJ with McDrai throwing pucks at the net on the PP. Hold the box and lets not chase anymore. Will work wonders, I kinda see and believe Toews has some support, they just don't know what to do. Someone needs to learn how to cheat on faceoffs (Kampf looking at you). Cheat, Cheat, Cheat.

Totally agree. Odds prob against them. Unless Power Enforcer keeps sending his Florida man mojo to Bettman.

We won last year, correct? Moved up the highest position? So we're out anyway on the fix.

Let's just forfeit this draft and roll it over to next year? Makes as much sense as everything else going on in this world?

Why did Keith ice it, just bank it off the boards
- LAHawk

He couldn't find any shin pads to hit so he just clubbed it down the ice like some Squirt playing in his first game.

Next season there is the MLB example of a farm team practicing but not playing games. Perhaps this will be happenstance as far as the NHL goes..

Now as for the development of prospects, no actual
AHL season does not bode well. Unless you draft Lafraniere

This stat JUMPED out at me. Not sure if the site I was on had a misprint or what....

But, Dach....leading forward in time on ice...23 minutes!!!! That gotta be wrong doesn't it???? Maybe 13 minutes, but 23????

Another telling stat....Toews 17-12 at the dot....rest of team 15-25. Guessing Toews has to take almost EVERY vital draw.

This wasn’t even close to matching the legendary status of 17 Seconds. That comparison is laughable.

Still a very impressive come from behind win though.

There's a lot to be said for consistency, such as the consistent "whack a mole" commentary found here. Nylander sux. Strome sux. Maatta sux, KK sux. Boqvist sux. DeBrincat sux. deHaan sux. Kampf sux. Highmore sux. Colliton REALLY sux.

Once some fans put a player is put into the "sux" category, they see the player through a rigid confirmation bias making it near impossible for the player to do anything right in their eyes - they will always suck, no matter what.

Eh, I enjoyed the game, regardless of all that suckage by the usual suspects.
