I have a bad feeling Rags gonna get #1 overall. I can feel it in my bones.

So a right-hander is preferred on the left circle? I was thinking LW since they are used to playing on that side. Is PP different due to the time it takes to receive a pass and/or easier to pass to the point instead of across one's body?
- Hockey66

Correct, on the pp you definitely want guys setup for one timers. I prefer playing my "off wing" all the time though. I'm a lefty and love center or RW or RD

If I was the round robin teams I would not want Carolina.

Oh, right, I forgot the whole Frenchy / Montreal connection. It would make for a marketing bonanza.

Likewise, I think they are the least desirable by a good margin.

Edit: However, their goaltending could still become an issue.

So since everyone’s just in bubbles are there gonna be any two day layoffs or is it all just every other day?

You mean the team's games? if so, I dont know the answer to that for sure, especially as teams get weened out, but there's already been B2B's so no every other day for some teams already.

Yea that would suck. And technically yes it would be the first round. These are just qualifiers. I would love to take out Boston though,we owe them.

It would be just like the Bruins to tank in the top seeding games, with the belief that they match up well against the Pens (and that "home ice" does not really matter much in this tournament). I too would love to see the Pens send the Bruins home. I keep hoping that Marchand tries to lick someone again in the round robin games and gets expelled from the tournament.

It would be nice if the Pens didn't keep getting last game slot and have a shot at some better ice.

I'd rather have them early IF we had to play them. They are just one of those teams as they get deeper into the playoffs the more dangerous they are. I wonder what their record is in the ECF

I’d rather not have to play against Rask right after Price. Unlike Montreal, Boston’s counter attack is as deadly as they come.

Not to mention how much the Pens seem to majorly suck in early games the past few seasons.

it doesn't matter what time of day it is the ice sucks all around.

The newer rink in Edmonton seems to be holding up a bit better.

Ive never once heard anyone ever comment on good ice quality conditions. The ice is always bad.
