I don't think the Klan exists anymore, other than maybe a few people tucked away in the sticks and no one gives a damn about them or their effed up views. And last time I checked, the Klan was the terror arm of the Democrat Party. But that doesn't even matter. The Klan isn't out there rioting, looting, and burning down their neighborhoods. BLM and ANTIFA are the ones doing that.

Again, it just doesn't matter in relation to the sport of hockey. Keep the politics out of the damned game. Like I said in my other post, it only serves to p*ss off 50% of the audience. I give you some solid evidence to back up my dispassionate claim.

1. He considers Rush Limbaugh to be "a great man." He has said so.

2. Is it necessary, given 1 above to go on? Fine lets move on... look at his statement "They are not peaceful, they are Marxists." Now, as anyone who has taken even Pol. Sci 101 knows, Marxism is a theoretical body of work. It is different from communism. There have been plenty of peaceful, democratically elected governments that are Marxist. To say that statement is like saying "they are not peaceful, they are ideologically conservative." It makes no sense. Now why is he saying that? Because he is a moron. He has no idea what Marxism means - its a just a buzzword for him.

3. There is no point arguing with him. He is pathologically argumentative, cannot follow the most basic of metaphors, logical fallacies. He thinks if he posts ten thousand times refuting everything you said, that is debate and he is doing fine. Ten years ago, he would be banned every second month.

4. He once argued with me about death rate data about Covid. I happen to work in a field where I am on dozens of mailing lists when zillions of bits of such information goes by my screen every day. I attend an online presentation a day about Covid stats.

What he said was so outlandish, that I was deeply puzzled. He said it was a study. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and looked high and low in journals. I could not find it. I looked at pre-prints. I asked some colleagues. No one had heard of it.

It turned out that the "study" was 2 doctors who were irate at the shutdown, who held a press conference that was reported in the conservative media.

Point being...things need to be put in perspective. America perfect? NO, BUT before protesting something, one must look around and realize that America is a pretty God dam good place to live. The protesting is over the top, and the only thing that's systemic in this country is the media bias, and their willingness to only report a one sided story.

Such an irrelevant stat. There are more white people than black people. The Percentage of blacks in the U.S is like 13.4% whereas the Percentage for Whites is 60.4% according to google.

The problem has nothing to do with how many are killed the problem is why they have been killed. George Floyd is a perfect example. There is absolutely no need to kneel on his neck. Witnesses as well as the victim all claimed he couldnt breathe yet the officer did not care. What you have to look at is how many deaths there were that were unjustified. Many unarmed people of colour are shot and killed while unarmed. The police department is so corrupt that you cant even sue the police for wrong doing and win.

It has also been reported that the destruction and fires that were connected to the protests were actually started by the Police to make the protesters the bad guys.
