Are you black? Even if you are, what quantifies you to proclaim who black leaders are?

What if I posted a link on Hillary and said this is a true white leader? Holy (frank) man, you're lost.

- golfingsince

Is that really all you've got? LOL. Your response is asinine. Look around you. The people who are looked at as leaders for minority communities are not getting it done. The politicians who are running the inner cities and make promise after promise but never deliver aren't getting it done. Right now those leaders are willing to have their cities destroyed so they can win an election! The leaders I linked to are true leaders because they actually tell the truth and address the real issues and they happen to be black. That makes them true leaders in my opinion. Exactly what I said. Can't have a real conversation. Hey but you go right ahead and stick with BLM and pro athletes kneeling and see what happens! I'm lost. LMAO.

My own personal experience is that violence doesn't get you very far, wether it's beatings or throwing a rock. It just helps justify someone else's opinion.

We all have to work together.

- golfingsince

But you understand wanting to punch something or someone when disrespected, right?

There is no vaccine for racism. You can’t just created in a lab.

Can't create it by kneeling either.

4 years, we're still talking about. What's happened from it? Nothing! Nothing is going to come from it. Could've grown a forest by now
- MJL

It went from being a situation where the league wanted to distance themselves from it to one they embrace. That's progress.

No it's not. LOL. All they're doing is making an economic choice because they're afraid doing the opposite will hurt them more. They aren't embracing anything. It is meaningless.

Oh the classic “you aren’t black so you can’t have an opinion” comment. Incredibly racist

So basically you quit because you realize you're being racist while claiming racism isn't an issue. Cool. At least you realized it.

You can have an opinion, doesn't make it accurate.

Hillary is a real white leader.

You're embarrassing yourself. Going off on strawman's and fantasizing because you have nothing else. You can't address the points I've made or the points made in the links I offered. The best you can do is that asinine Clinton reference.

You're absolutely correct.

For the 3rd time in my existence here i've been dumb enough to enter a discussion with you.

Why address points on what a white man thinks should be a leader of black men? I'm still hoping we can just call it a leader of men regardless of anything else in the future.

You're denying racism is an issue or understate it's presence in today's society. It's like your covid argument yesterday, you're more concerned about downplaying the severity of the issue at hand than you are in dealing with it.

Tell tale sign. Moving off of the issues and the context of the conversation and instead trying to insult someone. Must be a liberal.

LOL. The points aren't about who I think is a leader. The points are the one's made by the leaders in the links I posted. You're having an issue following along. I understand it goes against your narrative and gets you to think more and show what you obviously don't know and aren't aware of. I like to get the perspective of black leaders who are part of that community and have lived in it and through the civil rights period. If you think that makes me a bad person, I don't care.

Ridiculous. I'm addressing the real issues and what's really going to solve the issues and truly make things better for minorities. I haven't once denied that racism exists at any point. For you to say that is asinine not to mention just plain false.

You talk in circles. You haven't once brought up a point that will help black men to a better future, just alluded to an idea that there are better ways.

You've stated the major sports leagues supporting this movement if futile, without any evidence.

You've been in here suppressing the idea of people standing up for their own rights, supporting claims of disrespect to the flag. In reality, the flag stands for people standing up for their rights.

Why can't you offer a better alternative then stop protesting? It makes it hard to believe you really want change.

You're very special. I made numerous points. You need to review.

"I have plenty of actual real solutions as do many of the best black leaders. However they aren't listened to. Instead they listen to BLM and Al Sharpton who has made millions off of the racism issue. You can't have an actual real conversation about the issues or you'll be called a racist or a bigot. I agree that the youth need to be taught and mentored to correct behaviors. That starts in the household with proper parenting and a two parent household start there. Then fix the schools. Who runs the schools in the inner urban cities? Why won't the liberal democrats allow school choice where a parent can decide to send their kid to a good school instead of the crap schools they are forced to send them to. Why don't inner city minority children have the same access to good schools that white kids do? Is any intelligent person going to say that we can't fix the education system? Why is it so poor? Charles Barkley said it best. Poor black people have been voting for Democrats for 50 years. Their still poor!"

Sure I have. I offered the evidence that the kneeling movement has not created any real change or improvements for minorities.

Completely false. I have never once stated that anyone doesn't have the right to stand up for themselves and peacefully protest in anyway they choose. I have only questioned the effectiveness of it.

Why can't you offer a better alternative then stop protesting? It makes it hard to believe you really want change.

- golfingsince

I have never stated that people need to stop protesting. It is a constitutional right in the US to peacefully protest.

You still haven't addressed the inequality, instead you've tried to spin it as an issue caused by the democrats. Your solution is a two parent household? Good luck, those numbers are dropping.

You've been given counterarguments to your beliefs that change is happening but you dismiss them.

Pretend all you want, your mind is nowhere near as open as you think it is.

Again false. I have addressed the real reasons of the inequality. You're just ignorant to it. Those numbers aren't dropping. They're rising and have been rising. My mind is very open. To the point where I know more about it then you do. To the point where I'm aware that BLM and athletes kneeling and sports leagues throwing money around is not going to fix anything. You are close minded to that reality.

Here is a viewpoint from another strong black leader (my opinion.) The entire video is enlightening but fast forward to the 15 minute mark to address one of your uninformed points.

If we use the logic of MJL, Ritchie, and a few others by painting all with the same brush - The city of Philly should drop the moniker "City of brotherly love" - Ain't no love coming from Philly in here.

Ritchie, you should drop Giroux from your profile, he disagrees with you - https://northeasttimes.co...backs-black-lives-matter/

Do you think a cavalier attitude of “slavery is in the past, no big deal” isn’t racist? Or not caring George Floyd was murdered by a white cop because “he was high” or because “he was a criminal”. His death is just fine? If you want the actual post I’ll give them to you but look no further than the last three pages.

- SuperSchennBros

I mean, just going by your summary.

Neither of those things is racist. They are a bit insensitive, but not racist.

How about the human rights of the victims of those martyred thugs? No one ever seems to mention all those innocent people who were robbed, beaten, raped, hurt, maimed and/or killed by the very same people that are suddenly worshipped; not for how they lived but simply for putting themselves in a position to die from making dumb decisions. Even the Floyd case doesn't hold water when you view the facts in context and in total. Not one scintilla of evidence that the primary officer involved was a blood thirsty racist looking to kill bl*ck folks for sport and just happened upon Mr. Floyd passing fake money. Nothing, Zero, Zilch! Same thing with Micheal Brown. The entire,"hands up dont shoot" thing was a lie! It never happened. Hoax, after hoax , after hoax, and people continue to buy this story. When I am lied to I get upset. Sadly most when they hear what relly happened just shrug their shoulders and dive on in for the next pool of hogwash. ISMH
I will never understand why the media keeps pushing this false narrative? They've gas lighted millions, I just cant believe it. It so wrong. I guess if enough people scream something loud enough for long enough the rest of just accept it a truth. Unreal. The NHL needs to leave it alone and stay clear of this obloquy.
