Oh no, I’m making a fool out of myself in my own home, on a web site where nobody can see me. 😩😭

You can be behind a movement 100% without supporting an organization. The ability to separate the two is imperative however.
- golfingsince

As we’ve already stated. Black Lives Matter is already supported by the NHL, the NBA and the NFL. Can’t be all that bad, now can it?

There is no butt. You don’t hold a man down with your knee on to someone’s Throat. Sure, maybe George was high. What’s the sober cop’s excuse? He didn’t know you could cut off someone’s air supply?
- SuperSchennBros

9 deaths isn't really anything when you compare that to the real injustice to african americans which is black on black crime. We only care though when it is the hands of a police officer that someone suffers an injustice. Don't believe me? Don Lemon said so himself they don't care about black lives unless they were wronged by police.

To me anyways it's the message that matters, not the organization.

If you actually believe anyone can make themselves look like a fool on an Anonymous web site, you have a very unrealistic view on life. Plus, you’re very much a racist, so why should I care?

2020 anyone that disagrees with a leftist is racist. Doesn't phase me to be called that by someone that doesn't know me whatsoever. I was raised to not see race in every instance of life, where you were obviously raised to see race in everything. I see people for who they are not the color of their skin. Who is the real racist

Unless i'm missing something, the NFL is on board as well which is very important. Racism is alive and well. It's not race exclusive but you need to start somewhere.

If anyone thinks the NBA and NFL's decision to back BLM is about anything other than business, they're naive.

Yikes can't even debate what I said because you know I am right. George was crazy and even kicked his way out of the cop car he was so high on drugs resisting the entire time. Still shouldn't have been knelt on the back of his neck like that but what happened to him could have been very easily prevented by following something you may not be familiar with which is called the Law.
- Richieattack18

There is no point debating with you because you can't even get to a place where you think you could possibly be wrong. In your mind, there is only "I'm right".

Kinda hilarious that they "protest" slavery that ended 250 years ago in the USA,
while the actual slaves in China make them rich right now.

The only thing these leagues will accomplish is bankruptcy, since people are already
not watching.

Disagreed with him, then he brought up his race as a defense mechanism to slander and call me racist! Classic SSB

Well it's probably more profitable to support players in your league in their search for equality rather than disregard it. It sends a good message to people of all colour out there.

I'll take you and people like you seriously when I see them protesting the black on black crimes in inner cities, murder of the Missouri Cop, murder of the Milwaukee Trump supporter in broad day light and many other "inconvenient to the narrative" occurrences of violence.

They don't have to support BLM to support their players in their search for equality. For those who actually know what the BLM organization is about and what they do, it's not at all a good message.

It's not just about the violence, it's about racism in general specifically towards black people. I'm white, have blue eyes. I've been racist and been subject to it. I've also had the fortune of being welcomed by ethnic groups where i'm the only minority and have welcomed others in the same situation. Those are the best experiences.

Pretending racism no longer exists is akin to sticking your head in the sand. BTW, the civil war ended just over 150 years ago not 250.

I don't support the BLM organization, never have and likely never will. However you're focusing on the merits of the few vs the ones of the many. Black lives do indeed matter, and it's time to address the situation.

You didn't address what he said. What the poster mentioned as far as black on black violence in inner cities is far more of an issue that racism is for minorities and it's not even close. As well as other far more important issues such as education. He didn't stick his head in the sand, he named more important issues. Gang violence, drugs, shootings, murders galore and BLM is no where to be found. A little girl gets caught in the crossfire and BLM is no where to be found.

Black lives actually mattering, which of course any reasonable ethical person would agree and the BLM organization are not the same thing. Not by a long shot. I agree it's time to address a lot of things. However lets do something real instead of the political nonsense going on now. Minorities in need will never see a dime of the 250M the NFL threw at the issue.
