Except that... hitler was religious and the bible is the center piece for holy wars over the last thousand or so years from the crusades to the colonialization of the americas lead by the catholic church converting the heathens (resulting in the millions of deaths of indigenous peole from here to brazil). But yes... tell me about marxism! By the way, hitler was not a Marxist. He was fascist. You and your facts |

Like the slogan says, all lives will matter, once black lives begin to matter. - TheUltimateJet
Sorry jet...you’re way off on this one. BLM is a political organization, nothing more. They do not care about black lives. There is a crisis of epic proportions when it comes to black on black crime. The media doesn’t care, BLM doesn’t care and a lot of politicians don’t care. The black community has been lied to for decades by so called leaders in their communities. Where do the donations to BLM go? Yeah, it’s all about black lives.

When will white players start kneeling for whites who die 3x more at the hand of blacks than blacks at the hands of whites. Fact? Half the violent crimes in this country are committed by a race that accounts for roughly 12% of the United States. And the protests have been extremely violent. My friends are cops in NYC and these ANIMALS follow them to their personal cars. The fact that we cater to THESE PEOPLE is mind boggling. The truth is that there are bad people of all races and a higher percentage of them happen to be of the race that is now running wild with violent protests in our cities. In many cases, enabled by civic leadership. People are afraid to say all this out loud. But it’s the truth. And my white privilege? I grew up in a home where we didn’t have much because my father scored 25 points higher on a test to move up at his job but lost out to a woman of color because of the privileges granted to her race. |

I finished reading a great book called "White Fragility". I think many people on this board would benefit from reading it!
Being racist does not mean you are a bad person, it just means that there is some information out there you are not aware of. I think if people were to actively identify their racial biases, they would be much better equipped to challenge their own thinking about race and racism. Or oppression in general. - TheUltimateJet
I normally try to stay pretty even keel on these comment threads. I'm sorry, but White Fragility is one of the most overbearing and inaccurate pieces of drivel ever written. The notion that unless I am actively fighting against racism, both internally and externally, then I am in fact racist is preposterous.
The bolded is also BS. Being called racist is the largest current hammer with which people use to force others to apologize, quit their jobs, have others fired, etc.
I am all for righting actual wrongs, but this book does virtually all harm and zero good. It is wildly inconsistent and plays on the fallacious argument that if you disagree with her that just proves your racism.
Sorry, rant over. |

The founding organizers of BLM are overt marxists. How do we know this? They freely admit it. People that support them obviously have no understanding of the extreme oppression and death marxism has brought to 100's of millions of people globally. I wish we could round up this antifa trash and drop them in the middle of Venezuala (marxist regime).....where they have to eat zoo animals because they're STARVING. Only marxism could make an oil rich nation dirt poor.
If America is so bad, why are millions of people trying to get in every year? So many people want to come to this "oppressive" country that we're building walls to keep them out. If America is so oppressive why would 10's of thousands of Cubans (marxist regime) risk their lives on rafts and tiny boats in an attempt to reach the shores of Florida? If America is so bad, why are people in Hong Kong running around with American flags while the Chinese (marxist regime) military are beating them bloody? Meanwhile, Antifa and BLM burn and kneel for the flag.
Nobody is saying the U.S. is perfect, but unlike the Soviet Union (marxist regime) our walls are to keep people out not keep people in. You're FREE to leave anytime you want. |

You cannot be seriously asking me this. But since you did. We all have racial biases that have been instilled in us, by family members, schooling, media and what now. Understanding these biases is important for us to move past our racist ideas.
It took lots of meditation and reading to recognize myself as a progressive person was holding onto some of these ideals. BLM has liberated me and I am much more quick to recognize a racial thoughs and feelings.
- TheUltimateJet
This theory is trash. As a human being that treats everyone equally unless given a reason not to do so I don’t need to be lectured that I must crusade against perceived rascism and that’s it’s everywhere.
Oh wait that’s just my white privilege.

You can burn down a church, but you can't go to one. Do you know how much different things would be if this wasn't an election year? - MJL
Oh yeah. Remember h1n1? Yeah most people don’t. Numbers of infection and mortality rates were diminished. I couldn’t get an n95 mask for weeks and when I did at work I was allowed one every two weeks. The hospitals had patients in the hallways and were completely overrun and I was still going to concerts and sporting events. Two of my colleagues died from swine flu. My friends sister has permanent lung damage from her infection. Over 68,000,000 Americans infected and we didn’t shut down the economy, shelter in place, etc. The contrast is incredible. Obama somehow did a great job... |

Read the following and tell me how good socialism is. In 2017 the average Venezuelan lost 24lbs while Maduro and Chavez are/were fat fuks. 90% live in poverty. Socialism is a peach. Go find out for yourself. Half of North America is obese, so yeah...Socialism is wonderful.

In New York. Most of the protesters were from out of state shipped here on buses. How do I know that? I watched it. Also watched them destroy six city blocks where both myself and family live and hop back on their buses to go back home. Also, in a place like NY covid went through the population. It transmitted through the LIRR and NY subway system and spread through the boroughs and Long Island because Cuomo and Deblasio refused to shut down both systems.
I honestly think it’s hysterical when people actually debate these protests do not cause virus transmission. I don’t even know what to say to someone that has that opinion? - Cptmjl
I don't know what relevance the first paragraph has to protests causing virus transmission. Of course they do. Who could possibly deny it? If you have masses of people gathering and shouting (exhaling forcefully), then of course there is an increased risk of transmission.

How many died? - neem55
16,800. Do you think those are factual numbers? There was no government reimbursement for swine flu. Do you understand what that means?
Do you have any idea how much a hospital gets paid for every covid admitted patient?
Covid patient that’s intubated?
Covid patient that dies on site?
Look it up. It’s public information.
After you look that up I’ll ask you if the covid mortality rate is factual in the US? Before you answer that multiple epidemiologist and physicians have already said that it’s 25-50% less then what you’re seeing. Birx stated it as well recently.

Really is this critical thinking or just dogma.
How is the pledge of allegiance indoctrination? I was always taught god, family, country.
You, can say the most vile things about our leaders and public personalities with just about no repercussions.
Anyone is free to leave this country if they don’t like it.
From many one? Well from many states forms one nation.
What did you think this was really about?
Can we just stop with the United States has slavery so it must be bad.
Slavery was a worldwide enterprise at one point in history.

Allow me to correct you and explain about the contrast.
Here is a quote from the CDC:
"From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (range: 8868-18,306) in the United States due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus."
This means there were about 1000 deaths a month.
The first Covid 19 death in the US happened in Feb 29. That's a little over 5 months ago. We have had over 153k deaths so far.
That's about 1000 deaths a day.
You see the difference? |

Hitler was a socialist. In private conversation, he would often praise Marxism but was very careful with his public comments. There’s a lot more to this and you’re comments are very misleading
