There is our 4th liner

I don't think so, he would command a lot more than a 4th liner is worth

- mdw7413

True, but he would be a perfect bottom 6 type of guy. He can fight/is physical and add in the offense as well.

But yea you can't pay that position 5 million plus

they cannot overpay on the Tony D contract, they are in no position to

when they signed Panarin and then Kreider, they did that believing the cap was going to go to like 90-100 million in a few years and that is not the case anymore

not their fault, but this cap isnt going anywhere for awhile now, they just cannot overpay Tony D and Strome

- jimbro83

Strome has to go, I want no part of him. Please go away

problem is that he can take faceoffs, they have to figure out the faceoff thing

Chytil is absolutely dreadful on faceoffs and Howden is offensively challenged

I'd give Strome a two year contract, two years 10 million

I'd do the same with Tony D

problem is getting them to want to sign those deals

No way tony signs that, Strome who knows. I would rather let Strome go and someone work with Chytil on faceoffs until next year

they better work with Chytil on faceoffs like starting today, this guy took 500 faceoffs this year and lost over 300 of them

I think people forget he is still only 20. Not that that has anything to do with faceoffs, but he is still a youngster and can learn

I'd love it if they could sign Strome for that and get another 1st rounder + for Tony D.
With the young D coming up, that has to be a real possibility.

I think they may look to move Tony. Fox and him are very similar players, but Fox better overall dman. Tony just a PP specialist at this point. Will cost too much

While Fox is better defensively, he isn't as good offensively as Tony. Tony had 19 of his 53 point on the PP. So not really just a PP specialist. Fox had a higher percentage of his points on the PP
