Good season guys. Carolina is a juggernaut. Reminds me a lot of the Penguins in 2008 when they were just getting going with their young core.

Always appreciated Hank, will be interesting to see where he ends up.

And please... dont get the #1 pick... our division already has too many franking #1 picks already.

- SuperHenderson13

We could use one more...

Good luck, Bingo.
I’ll be cheering for the ‘Canes going forward.

- Tonybere

Me too, just texted my Canes buddy the same thing.

This has to resonate during the off season, lot for the team to think about.
- Fenrir

Would love it to resonate, would love Kakko to take a big step next season, Miller to jump right in and a couple of long time guys retire

I will get a blog up sometime tomorrow. Have to let the emotion get out of me and write rationally.

If one more f-in troll comes by to rub it in, I swear to all that is holy, I will use whatever power I have with the admins to get you banned so damn quick, your ass will spin on the way out.

Congrats Bingo, your team deserved the series. They grossly outplayed New York

We don’t always agree.. but I enjoy your work..
And your honest assessment of the Blueshirts.
It’s good hockey reading...

Really I think there was more for Quinn to learn in this series than any of the players.

No tears would be shed if whatshisname.. the one that rhymes with Spruce were to get a mandatory vacation.

Anyway, thank you for your work Jan. Even though I don't post here much, I do read your blogs. Your effort is appreciated.

Thank you.

Agreed. Quinn didn’t have a great series. Team looked ill-prepared at times, didn’t make adjustments, moved Zib from his sweet spot on the PP

This. This right here is the reason I come here! Nothing to do with any of you idiots (except you, Fenrir).
Take your time, Jan. Writing about this “series” will be challenging. I swear, I thought I heard them playing Sweet Georgia Brown midway through the 3rd period!

That's a great point about Quinn, he's got a mentor like JD to learn from in the off-season.

Honestly I wish they never came

That was embarrassing, how does all other 23 teams show up but they can't? I have major questions about the coaching staff and the players going forward. Should be an interesting summer with roster decisions.

The only good thing about this playoffs is that the Rangers didn't even give me a chance to get emotionally attached to them. That felt like a pre season tournament, not playoffs.

I should have stayed in my car to listen to the game. At least Kreider scored when I didn't have power

It's one thing to get swept by a good team, it's another to be non competitive for 8 of 9 periods, their first line is what we needed from our big guns, Ziba and Panarin were major disappointments this series, Aho, Svechnikov and Teravainen bent them over

Really small consolation: Carolina has no shot at Lafreniere. Could you imagine being able to throw him into that lineup?

Cheers Jan, Rangers will learn from this one. They'll be back.

Hopefully Quinn learns most from it.

If nothing else this got our young guys some experience with playoff hockey. Now let’s get Lafrieniere and look forward to next year.
