I’m fully back on board with wanting us to lose this series in hopes of a high draft pick.

One Oiler, four Hawks at the net - can’t clear it out.

Hawks might have to seriously consider sitting Boqvist as well in place of Carlsson. He just looks too green for playoff-type hockey right now.

wow, Crawford is the main culprit to this loss. Easy stop in 2nd Q goes right thru his legs, then can't even grab a puck behind his net leading to an open net goal. Totally unacceptable play. There were at least 2 other times in the game that it looked like he was sloppy with the puck. He definitely made some great saves, but still, you can't give up 2 super easy shots in a 1 goal game (at the time).

Some folks were praising his 1st game, but I didn't think he was sharp in game 1 either. Gave him a break since he didn't have much game action. But these two are serious mistakes, just like Mike Smith did in game 1.

10 goals allowed in 5 and a half periods....is that good? Crawford turning back the clock to 2012 against the Coyotes.

Yeah - because they’re just getting demolished, 1 win 1 loss.

It’s a three game series. Tippett countered to neutralize the Toews line, stopped the 2nd line - now let’s see of Colliton can make the correct adjustments.

Maybe drop Nylander down (I wouldn’t sit him) with Dach and Galigula, move AdB up.

And come out playing for each period: 3 goals in the first two minutes of the first and second.

Yeah with that and Crawford not completing choking, they can still win.

It will be interesting to see the line-up changes JC makes for game 3 (besides The Drake returning).

And they were down only one until a bad handle by Crawford behind the net, and Boqvist and Strome being unable to get the puck at the net.

It was the Oilers night

They played better, got some bounces, AND Crawford had a horrible game.

We can still win this series.

I’m just not sure if I want us to...

JC should start Subban in game 3. Crawford with a goals against of 5 just won’t cut it.

No I totally agree we can still win this series. But beyond that...might be better for us to get that high draft pick in the grand scheme of things.

It's one game & this is a young team. Who had them winning the cup, honestly? Playoff experience is playoff experience. I look towards JC & company to make adjustments accordingly. I'm not abandoning ship. Edm got embarrassed game 1 & we got it back tonight. To break those 2 goal deficits was something though. I'm not worried win or lose. I cheer on my team as I'm here for the ride regardless.

I don’t think it would’ve hurt to give Subban the rest of the period after the 6th goal.

Was I imaging it, or was Boqvist ducking and avoiding and not attacking?

Maybe you don’t sign Crow next year.
