Hold up if Igor is “unfit to play” why the hell is he sitting in the stands watching the game
- arichardson22

Injury probably, right? Doesn't mean necessarily that it's corona related.

Rogie Vachon comes to mind. Is Tretiak in?

Edit: He is, and add Giacomin to that list.

So the King would be joining a pretty good group

depth i keep saying. when 4th line will be lw raffl/farabee, c grant, and rw pitlick/nak i think we have a team that can make playoff noise even sans a superstar. this team will thrive when all 4 lines can play near even toi at bust their butts pace. las vegas proved that.

[quote=PT21]I agree about Halak not having any chance on all but the last goal. He completely lost positioning on the last goal and slid way over to his right.

How did he have no chance on Myers' goal?

- Big_E_88

It was a helluva shot. It had tremendous zip and he picked a corner.

I thought I saw somewhere that “unfit to play” wouldn’t allow players to be near the team, even with the uncertainty if it’s injury or virus. Having said that, I have been drinking more since the pandemic lol it’s possible I misread

Fair enough. We just differ on our definition of the phrase "no chance".

Winnipeg losing Schiefele and Laine in the first game. That is as brutal as it gets.

As much as I revel in Rags pain being down 2-0. I can not stand that they will have a chance at the #1 pick again.

I think that I am properly rating Boss Blaze Hayes. I think he raises the game of players like Niskanen and makes good coaches look even better with his indefatigable leadership and velvety skills.

I don't recall ever personally attacking you. You're way too sensitive for the internet.
- Ftown19125

It doesn’t if you recall it or not, you do it.

Who on this board in their sad little life, wakes up in the morning, rushes on to hockeybuzz.com to stir up and argument with a faceless stranger??

You apparently. I'm not arguing with you at all. I pointed out what I thought some other poster was doing.

How do you figure that guy was trying to rile me up? His posts had nothing to do with me. He didn’t respond to me. He didn’t call me out by name.

Even if he was, than that would mean he started with me but I don’t see how he was.

Other than Lundqvist, (eventual) how many goaltenders are in the hockey hall of fame that never won a Stanley Cup?
- PLindbergh31

Roberto Luongo will probably make it too

ok dude. i'm not going to go back and forth anymore. it's obvious that a lot of people that post here put hayes on a pedestal to (frank) with you. if you don't see that, then I don't know what to tell you.

Oh come on, you're smarter than that. Everyone and their mother knows what he was doing. You didn't take the bait. Good on you - no response is the best response when someone is doing that.

Just trying to help again.... 3 possibilities.

1. He/they is/are insulting you and keeps insulting you when you respond.
2. He/they are trolling you.
3. It has nothing to do with you.

For each of the 3 possibilities, it seems the best response is just to ignore it, no? For 1, if that's the case, you have responded many times and it does not seem it has changed. For 2, don't feed the troll. 3: self evident.

Again, how you respond is your business. Just my well-intentioned take.

Just think if the Pens, Leafs and Rags all lose there is a 37.5% chance one of them gets the number one pick. That's at least mildly annoying.

Would be fun to see the Leafs lose though.

Why is Zac RInaldo in the lineup for the Flames in a playoff game?
And taking stupid penalties to boot.

Yeah I think he will. 489 wins 77 shutouts pretty damn good.
