Where is Roger?

Matthews and Marner have been dominant every time they played together.

They have Hyman and Micky for the top two lines.

They did not generate enough and the whole point of the Leafs attack is to come at a team with 2 lethal lines. There can't just be one line.

They obviously need two lines working. Matthews and Nylander have shown more together recently. JT, Marner and Soup simply need to be better. I don’t see potentially weakening AM’s line when Marner needs to find his game.

I think switching lines so soon lets those off the hook that were terrible.

Yes they need 2 top lines going, but breaking up one that is working to try to get the 2nd one going risks the threat of both lines going in the toilet. Tavares and marner need to get going themselves, they shouldn't need Matthews and nylander to get them going.

Where are all the people now that were opposing my trade suggestions all year?

1) Jones for Marner (Zezel?- “ I wouldn’t trade Marner for any dman in the NHL”)

2) Savard, Jenner, Anderson for Nylander and Holl (exactly what we need)

This is obviously my leaf goggles but a lot of 1st period offsides seemed like they were ok. It was probably the camera angle but there was easily 3 or 4 that they blew the whistle on some good rushes.

There was a play where clb was clearly offside, by several feet and 2 leaf defenders stopped playing and threw their arms up with no call.

Players need to learn not to stop until the whistle, but my god that was miles offside and it was missed.
