I felt like Scheifele did everything he possibly could to not get hit and that’s why he got clipped weird, he knew the hit was coming and tried to dump it and turn around as quick as possible. Still a freak accident but just take the hit and he’s fine.

Flyers over passed and gave up good shot opportunities multiple times in this game.

The only good thing about this is, they had possession for a lot of the second half the game. Especially the third. I’d like to see the team really pepper the goalie when up 3-1

I hope this game proves that Laughton-Hayes-TK is a sacrosanct pairing and probably our best line ES. With Raffl out, no Farabee in 2L please.

Imo the 1 st and 2nd lines were just ok. I am liking the bottom lines picking up goals.
Hart did a good job.
No reason to complain so far.

I think the Hayes line is gonna have to be out shutdown line.

That was an enjoyable game. Of course I can’t expect them to be where they left off yet. This game built better as it went along until we fizzled at the end when the Bruins were pushing for a goal. Hart

1st period the play was sloppy but fairly even except for our aversion to shooting. Raffl’s goal was a huge momentum swing. I hope he is okay...if it does mean he misses time, there is a good chance he will be back since we are going DEEP.

I don’t believe he meant to cut him but he definitely tried to trip him. He knew what he was doing with his foot moving like that.

Like I pointed out to you early in training camp. Wait until the games really matter to see who plays with whom.

JVR before getting injured was not playing with languid energy in any way. He has the ability to play on a lower line and still contribute offensively giving the Flyers offensive depth.

I think Tkachuk was just going for a hit. Scheifele in trying to avoid the hit, put himself in a bad spot. I'd like to see Tkachuk peel off when he sees he can't get a clean piece.

I don’t think it was a dirty play but I do think Tkachuk definitely has a dirty side to his game in general. Sure sounds like the Jets have put a big target on him tho.
