In my opinion, this does not mesh with his last 10-15 games where he was getting more consistent time and line mates. He is very good at breaking out of the D-zone, has greatly improved entering the o-zone with control and awareness of his options and consistently goes to the net.

I'm not quite sure the point you were making about Kane's other line mates. PDX wondered what Kane's numbers would be like if paired with someone like Panarin his whole career. It is fun to think about, but I noted that the cap does not really allow for that. Are you saying that guys like Sharp, Buff, et al weren't really that good and Kane made them that way, or was that just a contrast of what they did vs. Nylander?

That Sharp and Buff and the others know how to play hockey where Nylander has a good amount of skill but absolutely no clue wtf to do with the puck or on the ice. He kills space and is a black hole when the puck is on his blade. Atrocious player and killed a lot of shifts today.

Just cheapening the Cup a little more . This sham tournament in hub city with no fans 5 months after the season ended .!!! with it Pee Wee format is just another Bettman gimmick to go with the rest of the stunts he introduced to hockey over the years . Bettman and his creepy owners sell out the integrity of the NHL every chance they get for a few dollars and a rating point .

This is the most fun hockey as been. Anyone can win, anything can happen, all day every day.
