Yeah...still, playing for CSKA at 18-19 years old is great. Most players his age play in the MHL or VHL in Russia.

I'm not expecting him to be a offensive juggernaut. He's not that kind of player.

...and I do think he'll need time in the AHL as well. I think they brought him in so he could burn a year of his entry level contract. He could have had more money in the KHL, and the Habs hands are tied by the CBA's rules for rookie contracts.
