I've trained old people and severely overweight people in my spare time for a few years now. I used to be a big boy after legit sports left my life and had to learn how to do things. I loved to make excuses not to do things "can't waste chest day if I have low energy, let's just do nothing today". I like watching people get after it and better themselves and it tends to overlap into other elements of their lives. Fitness made my life better and I like sharing that...without trying to be the d bag who only talks about it. That said, yes, a lot of the clichés are fortune cookie like

yes your read is right on.

he's recently started to realize that it's just different now. nobody "protects the business" because everyone knows that it's fake now. i hope he still complains about the current product just as much though because that is some of the funniest parts of his show.
