they didn't look slow. they're slow. - DoubleDown
The game was pretty weak all around. Drouin looks like he wants to get back to his vacation resort. |

Julian has been doing what for the last two weeks? This team looked like a cluster of talented beer league'ers thrown out on the ice....bad positioning, bad passing, bad bad bad. The PP was bad, but it has been so for years, way past time to fire some coaches. After the sweep by the Pens, fire the entire staff....... |

He was not alone, half the club looked quite disinterested in playing.

was quite the collective "(frank) you" to the kid. not that i necessarily have an issue with what Muzzin did, but it deserved a response. - DoubleDown

Don't we have the best captain in the league with so much thoughness and leadership? I mean Wesie could do it, Chiarot.. it was Muzzin not Matt Martin |

Some are surprised of their low level of commitment after many Habs players came out to say they didn't belong there and would rather just come back in the fall for next season? |

Flyers fans are really (frank)ing weird and defensive about Kevin Hayes' contract. |

I missed hockey, but I wasn't missing... that. lol
oh well, as I was saying I'm just hoping the series against the pens won't be too big of an embarrassment. if the kids can have a few good moments, and the team shows a bit of effort, it'll be that, plus the consolation prize of a 12.5% chance of getting a pretty good ti-gars de chez nous - Pat1993
But again, maybe an embarassement would make them move / change... |

Sadly Bergy will not move the older assets he has for picks/prospects....he is focused on saving his job and he continues to believe this "team" can win with the group he has with a few minor tweaks. |

I'm still unsure why he's playing at all instead of Hudon/Poehling/Evans.

Him and Weal shouldn't be playing. I'd play the 3 you mentioned before those 2. |

While Julien is part of the issue, mediocre d-men and lack of true depth is a real problem.
My only issue with Julien is that why not ditch Weal, Ouellet, and Weise and play kids? This team is not going to win, so might as well go with kids and get them some games played.
There seems to be a cognitive disconnect between MB and Julien's belief they might win versus lack of talent to have any real hope. |

Julien is coaching to win NOW, that's the sad part when we know even with their "best" players, they won't win. Most of us would rather see players development but that's not the coach #1 priority |
