sigh. the point was that if Dale Weise's offensive contribution is notable, chances are it's because he fluked his way into 2 goals and few other guys stepped up.

the internet says rick middleton had 19 points in a playoff series, and some guy named wayne gretzky had 47 points in one playoffs.

dale will leave these records in the hay behind him.

but seriously, what happens now...they are shut down for 2 weeks ?

Then, so are the Phillies that they played 3 games against ?

nah, not a bad thing actually, making sure they get out of TO as quickly as possible and focus on the lottery/draft is the main hope this team has to improve.

you know they will beat Pits, only to be swept in round #2 right ?

if Dale Weise's performance is notable in any way, something terrible will have happened.

if the Canadiens somehow got by Pittsburgh, would they play Boston in round 1? i'm assuming since Boston was the top team when play stopped, they would play the lowest remaining seed from the qualifiers.

i've watched this 5 times and i couldn't believe he was gonna score all 5 times.

i remember a time i heard the announcer going nuts about a flyers breakaway and when i looked up it was dale so i just looked back down at whatever i was doing.
