Boxing vs kickboxing is a major change, let alone the massive size difference. Floyd knew what he was doing and beat the poop outta the kid to the point people thought it was a setup. That said...fighting guys of similar size in kickboxing he's an absolute beast

yeah I was also under the impression it was some sort of "staged" fight, or that the japanese fighter had no clue what he was getting himself into. they should've had a 2nd fight, but in a kickboxing match, so that Mayweather has to adapt too (he probably still would've whooped his ass lol)

Nasukawa's a rock star over there. To use the wrasslin' that Kick and the nut were talking about, there's pro wrestling rock stars in Japan that the vast majority in the west have never heard of. That said I'm fully confident they had little say in the fight which was supposed to be a 3 round exhibition that Floyd decided to use to make a point. Blame lies mainly with Nasukawa's management in my opinion
