I loved the first one, didn't play the second after the horrible rep it got on microtransactions after the launch so I didn't buy it but I heard it got better.

Like Pat said you have to buy the game, pay to play online and now you had to pay to buy stuff inside the game to be competitive, that was the breaking point for me.

The first (new) battlefront was stupid. There was no way to actually unlock everything by just playing.... unless you had 20 years ahead of ya to do so.

The 2nd game had a much better system for unlocking things and didn't require you to spend money... or at least you didn't HAVE to.

Too bad everyone boycotted them after the first one.

If you register to the nintendo online... thing.... you get access to plenty of snes/nes games for free... kinda like a netflix service.

And it's only like 24$ per year so it's way cheaper than the Playstation plus or Xbox gold.... it does come with way less free games but meh.

The Switch may very well be my favorite console.... the whole hybrid concept fits my life perfectly.

ok, 20$ is reasonable, but it's sad if game developers are allowed to charge 500$ or some crazy amount of money for an option, knowing that there's a schmuck that'll be willing to pay... gotta be careful not to let your kids have full access to your account lolll
