How's it all looking in the scrimmage? Any word on Sid?
I'm just getting home from an outdoor game of 4 on 4 ball hockey with 15 other buddies and it was fanfvckingtastic. |

I hope so to. I don't see why Miletic would make it over him since he also hasn't played an NHL game yet. I think Poulin is on the bubble with POJ, Johnson, and Varone where 3 of the 4 make it. - Tojo.
Yea even if Poulin doesn't play he can be around this playoff atmosphere. |

He just had break-away. Pedestrian attempt unfortunately. Basically shot it into Jarrys pads. |

Yea me too. I think this sets Sheary up for success. He can find those soft spots and either Sid or Guentz will find him. |

The games are gonna kinda sound like this. It's not too too bad.
Will family or bubble teams be allowed in the seats socially distanced or anything? I hate saying social distance or new normal. Those terms drive me bonkers haha. |

Honesty when the playoff games are going on we probably won't even notice the sound lol. It's cool seeing all the fans with the towels waving after goals though, that atmosphere is gone. Are they gonna use horns/music? |

Well the atmosphere is a huge part of the playoff experience ... But I feel like because fans have been so hockey deprived it won't matter as much as say we watched the whole season with a crowd up until this week and the playoffs start Wednesday without a crowd haha.
I would have to think they'll still have the horns and music but don't know for sure.
One of my best friends is a huge Arsenal fan in Champions league (soccer) and he said he couldn't watch the games because it wasn't same without crowd.. I don't know...I can't forsee it making me not wanting to watch NHL hockey haha |

Durant REALLY wants to become an owner when he retires and he REALLY wants to bring a team to Seattle specifically. Given the NBA's track record of backing their stars when they want to do something, I think it's a matter of when not if the Sonics come back. Looking forward to it too. I grew up watching Ray Allen as a Supersonic so I always had a soft spot for that franchise. I'd say move the Grizzlies if expansion is out of the question, but then we'd loose the Grizzlies. Would rather them be moved back to Vancouver and remain the Grizzlies. - Victoro311
I hope he does become an owner. I think all sports leagues would benefit with former stars as part owners. The thing I'd love to see is Durant retiring, helping bring the Sonics back to Seattle, and then he pulls a Lemieux and he returns to be a player-owner. That'd be sweet. I read Durant made a 15x return on a delivery food company that Uber bought.
I'd also like to see LeBron buy a stake in the Cavs. He seems like a really savy guy. He already owns a small stake in Liverpool that he skyrocketed in value.
Seattle is a messed up city, but it is crazy to me it took this long to get hockey and they still dont have the Sonics back. I think they'll have to pay Oklahoma City for the rights to the Sonics though. |

If Poulin pays, does it burn a year off of their ELC? I've also read good thinks about Joseph. He wont get a chance to play this year, but Ive read he has had a good season, especially given the sickness he had earlier in the season. Rutherford seems to think he'll be a top 4 defender. Him and Marino added some much needed help to the defense prospect pool. Made trading Addison that much easier. |

As crazy as it sounds. I am hoping he resigns for a cullen like role on the 3rd/4th line and continues as a cheap veteran presence |

But did he smoke him hard enough, is the question... That's actually horrible of me to say, shouldn't wish injury on anyone... |

That's good question since this qualifier round technically isn't the playoffs, but I would think not because don't you have to play more than ten games for that to kick in?
Side question because I always forget the age thing with this, but does Poulin go back to the Q or to WBS? |

I don't remember the whole card on Poulin as far as his game style, but from watching the scrimmage last night he's shark out there. He was always hunting down the puck and creating turnovers, which is definitely the way to get in Sully's good graces. While he doesn't have similar speed, his game kind of reminds me of Hossa. He has good defensive awareness while being able to jump into the transition. |

Yea I agree, I love his game. Hossa was my favorite winger here even in that short amount of time. If Poulin can be somewhat like that our top 6 is set. I'm hoping he makes the jump next year. |
