The CEO has already given the vaccine to her children. Couple that with the mass ordering of 2 billion doses and if you ask me it sounds like they already know for pretty damn certain it works, and the public will soon be made aware. It’s producing not only antibodies but also killer T cells. Every bit of news on this seems incredibly promising thus far. - SimpleJack
The public is aware - I posted the article from Bloomberg, and there are other sources out there that say the same.
Tests are not complete - mass production has been contracted but not started. Again - very encouraging, but not a done deal, and I think your timeline is off.
Believe what you want. |

They need good lighting for night TV telecasts, as well as MLB-standard locker rooms and training facilities.
Buffalo’s stadium apparently doesn’t qualify. - StLBravesFan
More importantly, they need MLB quality lighting so the players can see the ball. Playing baseball with substandard lighting is difficult, and dangerous. |

Uhhh, not exactly:
https://www.bloomberg.com...-coronavirus-front-runner
The University of Oxford candidate, led by Sarah Gilbert, might be through human trials in September. AstraZeneca has lined up agreements to produce 2 billion doses. Could this be the one?
So - might be through human trials in September, Astra Zeneca HAS AGREEMENTS to produce 2 billion (not producing now), starting in September. There could be some availability in October - 2 billion doses is a lot to produce and distribute - and nothing is being mass produced now.
Encouraging, but nothing is yet guaranteed. - StLBravesFan
The US Government is spending on producing vaccines on a few of them before they finish trials, so they will be ready to go if/when approved. This saves the lag time if they waited to start producing until trials were finished. |

So ... nobody else watched the scrimmage today or has any comments on it? |

I did. Seemed more shinny like today. More of a way for the boys to get their motors running and get some ice time
Also, I believe it was you who mentioned Dach and the one on one moves? I noticed it a lot today from most of the players.

I've watched some of today's scrimmage but haven't watched all yet. Will do so later this evening.
On your comments about 1-on-1 moves, I'm not too worried about it as I chalk it up more to having the courage to drive up the middle. Now is no better time than ever to practice and get better at it.
It is often frustrating when we see so many players dance around the perimeter and yell at them for not taking it to the tough areas.
As long as they see their options first then make the smart move to either dish the puck to a teammate with a cleaner chance or generate the chance themself, then that's the type of compete level I would like to see. |

Charlie's son. You mean Dave Manson's son? That's terrible if you literally put Charlie in for Dave. Did you? Or did I misinterpret that?

Just tuned into the Sox broadcast - sounds like they’re pumping in some crowd noise.
Wonder if they’ll do that in Edmonton and Toronto. |

I really hope not, because the ice level mikes will pick up enough poop and (frank) talk that it probably increases viewership.
Just run a disclaimer that there is chance you may hear profanity or harsh language.

Yep, that was me. Admittedly anecdotal as I watched it only once and didn't focus on the one-on-one stuff until it dawned on me it happened a few times - so maybe my takeaway is more harsh than the reality ... but far be from me to let a few facts get in the way of a complaint. |
