Obama was not a science-denier. Obama understood when to listen to expert advice from qualified doctors, scientists, and academics. Obama wasn't rolling back climate change mitigations and had put a pandemic-response plan in place, which Trump promptly dissolved because well, reasons. Now Trump has muzzled the CDC, just like he did the EPA, NOAA, and other governmental entities that are science-based.

Trump is an enemy of science. Period. Nobody can argue that. Argue all the other poop you want, but the record speaks for itself. Trump has declared open war on science and academia at every turn.

Trump, his followers, and his congressional enablers can all go phuck themselves hard and then do it again backwards.

I would bet the vast majority of those who put the Confederate battle flag on their car are unable to connect the dots to or deny that the Civil War was about slavery.

I try to be "at my desk" at 9, but yeah, 4 pm is quitting time.

And that usually includes taking the dog to the park for 30 minutes around noon.

I hate working from home, but I do like getting out of bed at 8:40 am.

P.S. I'm a big fan of sending an email at 9:02 am to someone.
