Yup, he appeared calm, until the red light started going on so frequently he got a burn on the back of his neck.
He's shown nothing to support the theory that he can even be a passable NHL backup.

I think it is either he had COVID and is recovering, or he tested positive and they are doing the whole 14 days of quarantine and negative test results before joining the team.

Could it be that, as someone else stated, he doesn't want to play if they get ousted in the play-in round, so instead of him opting out of play, they are just saying he is unfit to play, and then if they make it into the playoffs, he will play? Would they even be able to do this?

EDIT: I think it is one of the first two scenarios...I can't see them doing something underhanded...

I think if crawford could or wanted to play he would. Crawford would need ice time to shake off the Cobb webs and gain his confidence and timing.

I suspect it's his contract and uncertainty going forward .

He's been pretty good about jumping back in after a long break. I think at this stage he can for the most part show up and be pretty good to go.

He was all over the ice. Kurashev also made some nice plays for the other team. Murph looked in mid-season form. Breaking up plays all over the ice.

Seabrook was on their team. Kane dummied Maatta in the corner to set up a goal for Strome as Special K looked on.

Boqvist was jumping into plays a lot and finding open space. Beaudin is such a smart player. Makes nice passes and understand spacing in the O-zone. I like D-men that aren't static.

It was a static camera and some numbers were hard to pick up. Dinky was moving well.

Kampf finds the puck on his stick a lot. Wish he had some better hands. But for the role he should be in, he is fine.
