Careful, you don't want to get labeled.

Sometimes its about balance. If not Tanev who could break the rookie LHD in?

Same I would say about OJ if he makes it instead of Rathbone. Both in tough to do.

At least if its Tryamkin he can play right side and can pair with Edler.

But my guess is Stecher will be let go to sign cheaper Tryamkin. If Rafferty can stick on RD then Edler pairs with him and Tree with Myers imagine that towering pair next season lol.

Tryamkin in essentially a rookie himself.

I get that he's a KHL product with only having the one NHL year. But he's more developed then OJ, Rathbone and Rafferty the other candidates that will try to crack the line up next season. Not saying he's better. Complete different player then all of them in what he brings to the roster.

Unfortunately, he’s 10 so he’s taken it as a compliment.

Man. One of these days a college prospect is actually going to bounce.
And we will be prepared.

He’s older but not necessarily more developed. He’s big but no signs of much else for skill sets or maturity.

I like his size, skating. I'm not sure on his attitude. Wish he was meaner.

That’s a pretty good draft by Benning & co. Looks like 4 players that will get NHL games and perhaps the best player in the draft to boot.

I’m unsure if he grasps what an NHLer is. He won’t be the 1st or last player to think he is a pro & belongs. Some never get it thinking they deserve what isn’t earned.

I can see Lind maybe replacing Roussel if he continues to improve. His time is coming to knock down the door or get a chance for another team. Give it 1-2yrs. He has a lot of competition & has to separate himself from the others. 3rd line RW ceiling.

Mikey D has a few years to hone his game. He needs to dominate the AHL. Back up G is his ceiling imo

Rathbone i predict top 4 D needing a steady defensive partner.

He's played more pro seasons then the group I mentioned combined. That's more developed that doesn't mean better like I said. He's not a kid he's married and a family type guy. So where is the maturity stuff coming from?

He wants to play here and has held out from signing with KHL. He's coming back after what he decided was better for his personal circumstances and hockey development to go back. All the drama over attitude is just that. Green and JB like him. They're going to sign him and he will earn what he gets.

I think of all the pro sports leagues the NHL is the most likely to get their thingy across the line. IF they can actually get their athletes into the hubs virus free (and staff etc) AND they can keep them in the bubble I think they will complete the season. The hardest part I think will be keeping millionaire playboys in the bubble.

He has yet to prove NHL pro hockey maturity. Worth a 1-1.2m prove it contract. Hasn’t earned anything here other than an opportunity. The line got longer since he left.

Most of these players are family guys. The rest are pro's and know the stakes. Its play offs athletes take that stuff seriously. The hardest part is keeping transmission from the outside world at bay with so many servicing those in the bubble. Its a lot of moving parts.

Canucks want Tryamkin to succeed. Create a market for him at the least. Brisebois & Sautner are around to fill what he can do. Tree has to be more than what he thinks he is.

I might be biased but here goes anyways.

NBAers are posers & blingers with very few being businesslike. MLB not much different. They both have hot dogging & show boating at every turn & opportunity.

None of that group has proven NHL regularity. But Tree has a leg up having played an NHL season.

You can't praise maturity in a kid who hasn't shown NHL pro side and dish another in the same boat. He's worth what JB signs him at and it will be short term for sure. All the players looking for roster spots will have to earn it and its good to have healthy competition.

What I believe is he will be kept with the team next season along with Benn. Stecher and Fatty let go. Which means one of OJ/Rathbone/RAfferty will be added as well.

Its funny how you downplay him while accusing him of the opposite. Anyway lets see how he does when he gets here.
