Greatest moment in the history of hockey!!!!

But you still got louie locked up...so that’s something. Heck you’re still paying luongo part of your salary cap.

If Rathbone shows in camp he's NHL ready then signing Tanev to break him in like he did QH would be high priority. So with what you say probably Myers sticks to the more adjusted QH in that scenario.

I don’t think you break up the top pairing if we can resign Tanev. Imo we’ll see him 2nd pairing O zone starts & somewhat sheltered minutes.

It was the smart move to burn a year of his ELC and have possibility to play hockey with amateur leagues less likely to resume until Covid free. So either making the team or on loan to Europe if no AHL. My detailed posts yesterday on this and his rights now mute lol.

More importance goes to winning draws if the D goes younger. Then the D zone exits we look pretty good. Getting hemmed in our zone has hurt us over the past few years. Improve that is a big job.

There was a time to be critical & pissed off with team but it was a few years ago.

3 years running of Calder nominees in the line up. Some serious top 6 talent. Prospects pool healthier than ever.

Exciting times are here & can only get better.

I don't necessarily agree. If they fail to take the next step over the next couple of seasons i'll still be pissed off and like many fans of many teams i'll continue to be critical until they win it all.

I expect a PO team for many years. Cup runs once D is set.

Loui Eriksson is the quintessential practice player. Dominates in practice, can't put it together in a game. We've all played with those guys: sniping bar down with the teammates, can't even lift it over a pad when it counts.

I remember mentioning how I thought Rathbone was a great pick, shortly after they drafted him.
It didn't go over to well in here.
Glad to see you have all come around.

The kid reminded me a bit of Duncan Keith without the greasiness.

Glad they got him signed.

That's a lot to live up to but amazing find by Brackett in his backyard playing in obscurity.

So if he shows NHL readiness would you want Rathbone paired with Tanev or Myers?

Sometimes its about balance. If not Tanev who could break the rookie LHD in?

Same I would say about OJ if he makes it instead of Rathbone. Both in tough to do.

At least if its Tryamkin he can play right side and can pair with Edler.

But my guess is Stecher will be let go to sign cheaper Tryamkin. If Rafferty can stick on RD then Edler pairs with him and Tree with Myers imagine that towering pair next season lol.

I had read a scouting report early in his draft year and it talked about how he would be a good third-round pick. It showed some hi-lites of Highshool games and talked about his high character. I followed him from that day on.

Nice. Dexter didn’t have much out there. A few tid bits only.
