It has to make him not a lock, he's quickly falling down the depthcharts and I believe he will be signed and used as a trade chip. The kids on D we have coming(Rathbone, Rafferty, Juolevi, and to a lesser extent even Woo) are making him expendable.

So do I, the guy's high maintenance and he doesn't like the smell of Ganja, clearly not a fit in Vancouver. Trade him where there's a large Russian community

It was the smart move to burn a year of his ELC and have possibility to play hockey with amateur leagues less likely to resume until Covid free. So either making the team or on loan to Europe if no AHL. My detailed posts yesterday on this and his rights now mute lol.

If Rathbone shows in camp he's NHL ready then signing Tanev to break him in like he did QH would be high priority. So with what you say probably Myers sticks to the more adjusted QH in that scenario.
