I do wear a mask as recommended.
I have physically distanced as recommended.

I used to work in an industry where N95 makes with HazMat suit over the head, w Goggles was required in an environment where for months the heat was 95 with 90% humidity...with HVAC turned off to stem the spread of airborne particulates so as to not decontaminate cleaned areas..did so for 2 years...I get it, lol.
My clothes were complelely soaked within 15 minutes.

Masks are a minor inconvenience. I wear to help others feel comfortable as much as possible.

Obama/Biden actually terminated the testing for H1N1 and advised states to stop counting infections, failure there, or can’t we bring that up? As of today Florida has 20 deaths per 100,000 people, Texas has 11 per 100,000. In comparison NJ has 175, NY 166 and Conn 122. Statistica.com does an exceptional job at tracking corona numbers. Let’s keep our eye on that rate for FL and TX. If those numbers don’t spike significantly in the 2 weeks you mentioned then what are you going to point towards next, will you admit you made a bad call, of course you probably won’t, just like all the health officials in the government.

They have been wrong over and over on this posts.

40 thousand ventilators
10% death rate
Only democrat states are doing well
Etc etc etc....

Still won’t admit they are wrong

Ilya Sorokin’s 1 year Entry Level contract for 2019-20 with the #Islanders is simply a formality, but it’s for $925,000 all in base salary.

You bring up these death numbers, populations are spread out a helluva lot more in Texas and Florida. Populations in any of the major cities in Texas or Florida don't even come close to the people that live in NYC or NJ, even Conn. Triples that.

Nice job Michael. One problem I have is if you are signing DeMelo he should absolutely be in your starting lineup. I've read several articles that mention him as a very underrated defenseman. I personally don't think 1.25 gets him. Second problem, Sekera... No thanks.

Then Cuomo should have shut it down instead of bragging how good he was at controlling it, leaving old people to an early grave.

No one here is doing victory laps about the amount of death in Florida.

The only person who is excited about the amount of carnage left in Covid's wake is you.

Congratulations, your partisanship has made you a ghoul

I think that’s a solid point, but if I said as of today FL is doing a much better job than Conn with Covid people would have jumped on that and said no way, but the numbers speak for themselves.

CA just completely shut down again after case spikes, their small businesses are now going to be extinct. I want to know what is happening in TX, ok cases are up but what are hospitalizations doing, and if those are up are they all related to Covid or is it elective surgeries, screenings, people more comfortable to go now, etc. Are a rise in cases due to these ridiculous and mind boggling “probable” CDC definitions now, we have a right to know the entire picture, not just hear cases are up, and it’s pretty crazy to me that it seems no one else wants the full picture as well.

Well, easy for me.
They are all dead.
Other family members, probably will be close to a year as they are all remote...maybe my son and his family around Xmas depending on the scenario we are in then...could see that cancelling.
My situation isn't typical for upstate NYers.
Not sure where you're going with this.

I passed up an opportunity to travel back to NYS for 2 weeks, about 2-1/2 weeks ago now.
Original intent was to see family and friends, attend a funeral, 2 birthday parties.
A small portion of my decision was to help others feel a bit more comfortable, a portion was I didn't want to incur the associated risk by airline travel, and another portion was my son's in-laws uninvited us from our grand daughter's 1st birthday party since we are from Florida.

It's interesting g though, I see the shut it down until it goes away as a dream, but that is me.

My point is that the whole “protect the most vulnerable, while letting everyone else do what they want” isn’t something that can work in reality

Ppl aren’t gonna stay away from their elderly loved ones for one
And the virus doesn’t just affect elderly in bad ways
Sure, it’s not as often that younger ppl die from it
But i know 2 ppl in their 30s who’ve had severe damage to their lungs from getting it,
and they were previously heathy
One still gets exhausted (3 months later) just from taking a walk around the block

We don’t know the rhyme or reason yet why some are more affected than others
It’s impossible to protect those who will be affected the most when we don’t know who they are

You should go back to original posters on here and see who keeps bringing it up over and over and who started posting about Covid to begin with. It’s not me and the conservatives on here

You should go back to the begining of this thread on this article and see who brought covid up. Here's a hint:

It's you. Everyone else was talking hockey.

Your hyper-partisanship is a cancer on democracy. You are a troll of the highest order. Instead of indulging your ghoulish fascination with blaming the political party you dislike, try to be part of the solution instead of sowing animosity and discord.

You are a cancerous ghoul. Try to form a hockey take if you're going to post on a hockey board.

Things have changed and things have been learned since the first outbreak, we should all be happy that more people seem to be surviving this newest outbreak. It is horrible how many people died in NY and NJ, mistakes were made, but stuff was learned to and think it is helping know with treating people.

Posted it the other day

Olofsson-Jack-Sam
Skinner-Cozens-MoJo
Kahun-Mitts-Tage
Routsalainen-Asplund-Okposo
Cj Smith

Defense & goal would stay the same

If Tage scores 20 like u think,
and Mitts & Cozens do decent (15+ goals, 30+ assists)... which is possible...
then that forward group is fine actually

But if one (or more) of them doesn’t hit the mark...
Or if Line4 can’t be effective defensively...
then we could be in trouble
