I guess the problem i see, is the family doesnt want their relative as a logo. To be honest, not sure how they legally are allowed to use it, if the family doesnt want them to
- Mentalorgasm5

Not sure. I'm only legally allowed to practice bird law on the internet

My guess is that it qualifies as fair use, like when mattress companies use George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to sell Serta Posturepedics during Presidents' Day sales

Not just Buffalo, Killorn is the only one without a full trade clause, but he can still nix a trade to 16 teams. Why leave a cup contender and Florida if you don't have to.
- Buff36

Exactly! Add in there’s no state tax and that’s why Tampa has enjoyed being able to sign guys for less than another team might have. That’s why they get ntc’s. They leave Florida, they’re basically taking a pay cut.

Yes, but it is finally catching up to them. They have 3 players that could be offer sheeted and they might not be able to stop 2 of them.

There was an article I read today, the record number of cases as a raw count also represents a 4 or 5 day trend of lower Positivity Rate as a percentage of Tests...I din't fact check it, but testing was up significantly. It went on to say Hospitalizations are also decreasing as a percentage as well as Deaths. Maybe Herd Immunity is starting to take hold? I think that is still way to early to arrive at that conclusion myself, but we are moving towards it.

Test more, find more...isn't that what everyone wanted back in March April, May.
Hard to keep up with shifting focus of what's important.

Yes. Test as much as possible.

As time goes on we will learn more about COVID. It’s still so early.

I’d rather be overly cautious and wrong, then careless and wrong.

You didn’t get Sbroads memo on what is important? The one where any info that can be construed as negative towards Republicans is breaking news.

Look at chicken little Sbroads last week:

Texas and Florida are shutting things down because they have incompetent Republican governors who allowed outbreaks

This week: California is having huge outbreaks but their really smart democrat governor is shutting things down to keep people safe. He is so smart.

This joke of a person (Sbroads) is what is wrong with the world. Biggest hypocrite in the world and it’s why no one takes him serious on here anymore.

It's an interesting point, the OS angle.
Kong39 posted Evolving Hockey's contract expectations for Cirelli...6 yrs at $5.4 or $5.8;
Which would cost the Sabres a 1st and 3rd in 2021.

Since they don't have the 3rd to pay, they would need to work with another team to do the OS, then trade for him...but at what cost for said team to do them a favor?...and is trading a OS'd player legal?

Wear a mask even though it sucks. Wash your hands. Limit unnecessary exposure. That's all that's important.

Meanwhile, the Republican run states of Texas, Arizona and Florida are setting records.

Or, if the Positivity Rate is falling AND continues ( big assumption) while the Hospitalization Rate and Death Rate hold steady or decrease, maybe, just maybe we are achieving the goal of protecting those at higher risks while achieving immunities?
That would be a very good thing.
Who cares how many are infected if the real results for 98% are insignificant...protect the 2%

Is it? I would not be so quick in your assertion.
Higher Depression and anxiety rates influence/contribute to other health issues including deaths from overdoses, suicides, etc.
I'm not saying it is 1:1, but it is real.
Business closing, high unemployment, bankruptcy, etc.
There are costs.

2020 3rd, 2021 3rd involved in trades...I forget where/for whom.
People laughed at me last year when I mentioned it as a possible negative aspect back then.

The 3rd round pick this year was part of the trade that brought back Skinner.

The 3rd round pick next year was in exchange for Vesey.

Nolan Patrick, the No. 2 overall pick in 2017 Draft who sat out this season with a migraine disorder, is not on the #Flyers’ camp roster.

Patrick has not played an #NHL game since April 2, 2019 - a span of 468 days, including the 142-day pause during the pandemic.

Death by Covid or death by poverty... if you keep the country closed, there will be deaths due to being shut down. There has to be a balance between complete lockdown And an absolute free for all. Both ends of that spectrum end in a much higher mortality rate.

It's not even just Cirelli, Sergachev could be as could Cernak. My point is what if Sergachev signs a extension, say 3yrs 5.5mill, basically wipes out there cap space. What is a 4.5mill OS a 2nd rnd pick. They are gonna have to trade atleast 2 players Killorn is a obvious choice because he doesn't have a full NTC and depending on his 16 team list what is the cap restrictions of those teams. Tampa could be in a pickle.

Well, let’s find it and trade for it back! Even better if we can find it and get a good player in a package!

Player A and our 3rd for Monte. Or Risto. Or whoever.

I’m not sure who player A would be. Depends on where our pick is.

Then offer sheet Cirelli.
