Great article. The one thing I see happening is the Jets will re-sign DeMelo for more than $1.25 mil so Buff won't be getting him. The unpopular thing that will start a new and more prosperous era for the Sabre's is that its time to trade Eichel. His whining and dissatisfaction with the team resulted in so many coaches changes and teammates wanting out of Buffalo due to his me first attitude. He talks a good game but as a captain he certainly hides his selfishness quite well behind a I want to win persona. Now is the time to trade him and get back a package that can help truly build this team, get a true leader as your captain and players who want to win and stay in the city.

If we moved risto and montour is Tanev a viable option to play with Dahlin?
he is pretty good in his own end, and can probably log close to 20 minutes of ice time per game 5 on 5
sounds like Nucks are going to let him walk and he is from Toronto |

Rich men give their sports team, that they hope people will follow and support and be a money making enterprise, a name of something they look down on and disrespect? I don't think it was meant as a slur; as in those filthy, worthless heathen redskins... I think it was more meant as a sign of respect for fierce and noble warriors, as in how settlers were pissing their pants in fear when the redskins appeared to fight them. I get that it is now seen as a slur name by many, and changing it doesn't bother me in the least. But it seems to be much ado about nothing. |
