I know Boss doesn't like Sam the player cause he doesn't hit stuff but I feel like it's just a little too personal at this point.
- TheSabresTaco

pretty sure if one of us dogged dahlin, joker, olofsson, eichel, cozens, etc with 40 posts a day, 7 days a week a bunch of people would be annoyed

Yeah ok, trade away a Conn Smythe Selke winner and the best thing you get back is bum ass SSTT. Way to adapt. That paper bag breathing putz didn't have to trade ROR before the bonus kicked in. That's BS. Loser had no clue and thought it would be better to impress the Pegulas with how much money the cap genius was saving them in lieu of the absolute disaster of a roster he assembled. Like I said, biggest blunder in history of organization was poop canning GMTM because he wouldn't fire Bylsma. Team would be in the Round Robin if that rash decision wasn't made.

On instigators??? I am guessing.

Paul Ham and Rob Ray give their honest opinions during the offseasons when they are on the radio. so this doesnt shock me.

Good post taco

Its really a combination. Soft player and off ice d!ck.

People do grow up, have bad days ect.
I get that too. But it is what it is still.

I was/am a big flutie fan (oxymoron).
Guy is a huge overachiever
Nothing given to him in his career.

My wife kept telling me , flutie wouldnt give you the time of day, he's a jerk ect. "He's mean to rob Johnson "

We go to San Diego, first year of fluite with the chargers vs. Bill's.
(Flutie wins it on the last play)

Head out to junior seau's bar for Monday night football the next day. Flutie suprisingly is the guest on the tv show "live with coach mike Reilly. "

Wait in line to get a few pictures. I'm wearing my Bill's gear. The flute couldn't have been nicer. Took some great pics, kidded around about us being from Buffalo and shouldn't we not like him.

Moral of the story - flute = cool
Liked him more.

Human nature. I Like athletes who are personable

I can understand that. Nothing wrong with liking or disliking a player based on his personality. But what should matter, to fans of this franchise specifically, is hanging onto good players or at the very least, using them to get even better players. Keep emotion out of it. Everyone has a favorite play style. I was a massive Zach Parise fan when he was with the Devils. Also still refer to Chris Drury as St. Drury.

Sam Reinhart is a good player, there's absolutely no doubt about it. He's better with Eichel and vice versa. If you trade him, the Sabres must be better, immediately.

Regardless of the pro and anti Sam sentiment here, every single one of us knows he's a good player, whether people want to admit it or not. The constant dogging is a little tiring. The "Sam can't play without Jack" narrative continues to bother me. It's just flat out ignorance at this point.

How good he is may be tiring, but it's legitimate discussion.

He was saying how he only cares how his hair looks, he's too good to talk to anyone and he would have given him to the Blackhawks for free

I know it hurts you when Sam is referred to as support talent and he doesn't drive the bus but facts are the facts. And Jack would be just fine with plenty of other good wingers, OV raised his game while being stagnant with the support Jock Sam but how good would Sam be with certain centers? That number is not as deep.

It is just ignorant to lick Sam's balls like this when he often fails to show up. But we are all free to lick whom we want.

I read some preseason review articles over the years and Sam is not even mentioned regarding the Sabres. I feel pity for him. I'm like the guys on HB love this guy and he is not even considered an import part of the Sabres upcoming season, core. When a guy is pitied that is

The truth can be piercing and throwing what you wrote at me is very understandable when you can't accept it.

I think you and a few of his fanatics should warm up to the fact that he will be traded before too long and he will not be a blip on your or anyone else radar on this site. The current devotion is cute though.

Well, I never referred to you ever, because I typically don't start conversations with muppets. Second, the use of your vulgar insults just solidifies that. So regardless of whether you're right, wrong, or in between, means absolute Richard to me.

Lick balls is vulgar? I mean you might not say it in church but there's a lot worse to be said in a discussion board with guys. I've been called worse.

Can someone give a realistic trade involving Reinhart that makes the Sabres better now and in the future?
4 out of 5 full seasons of at least 20 goals, never scored less than 40 points and has increased point goals every year, why do we want to just get rid of the kid?
Is it only because of where he was drafted?
If Casey had put up 42 and 47 points his first two years, are we mad about that?
