It's Ristolainen for Henrique and a slight move up. The fifths are insignificant. Generally this seems to be a reasonable deal.


Far as Monty, an early 2nd round pick is pretty reasonable. Hopefully they can get a player instead.

I don't understand why under these circumstances any GM would offer a 66% raise to Mitts and 30% to Tage. That is $750k spent unnecessarily and more importantly does not send either the right message. Bump both down to their minimum QA of $1.01m each.

Those guys do have some value. Casey *could* late bloom. Tage sucks. McCabe is a good bottom pair and Samuelson is an unknown.

Oh I agree, I wasn't really talking about that. Unless we get very lucky and are able to hit up some of the cap teams for a few good pieces, it will take another year, but doesn't mean you can't show progress throughout that year.

The unpopular thing that will start a new and more prosperous era for the Sabre's is that its time to trade Eichel.
