What does he know, government said we can have outdoor gatherings of up to 100.

I wish you luck my friend. But if your food is as good as it sounds, you will be rockin in no time.

I went to one of my favourite pubs in the world on the weekend: the Olde Angel Inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

I don't think they used to have a patio (I may be wrong), but anyhoo, they had set up a really nice, big one in a yard two doors up the street.

Damn, it just felt so good to sit down with the famn damily and have a meal at a restaurant.

It almost felt normal.

I don't know how it worked with a patio, but from what I understood is that you needed a patio license before you could expand it. So they must have a small one some where.

It certainly is *sips wine*
- AdamFrench

I really should start drinking. The only time I didn’t get headaches from wine was when I was in Italy.

There may be a lesson in here someplace.

Retirement is still an eternity away, but we have raised the possibility of moving there eventually.

Of course, I'd have to taxi to St. Catharines and take the Go train in for Leafs games.

We did pretty well with the patio, they let us expand it.
So we added five picnic tables, gave us about 40 seats, we were full most nights, except Sundays so we closed Sundays.
Might have done better but it's been so hot.

Awesome, better days ahead...hopefully.

How many of these would be considered Democrat cities, and how many would be considered Republican? Asking for a friend.

My friend genuinely doesn't know the answer...

Had an awesome Amarone the other day.

Nice. I bought 24 La Tremenda Monastrell bottles and have been having one a week essentially. So hard to find Monastrell when it's out of season.

IN the US alone there are almost 4 times as many whites than blacks that support BLM.

Context is not your friend.

- The Law

True the population would dictate what your saying is true.
If you dig a little deeper though and look at interactions with the Police it's actually quite close despite the huge difference in population so based on that it shows whites are actually more likely to get killed by the Police based on interactions.
I'm sure you'll want to say it's racist that blacks have more interactions with the Police.
Based on my job I would actually say you might be correct. Would that be the fault of the Police or mayors of the Cities.

I didn't agree with him, especially because Chicago didn't make that list with their 3k something shooting deaths a year, I'm just saying the way the proposition and then rebuttal were framed went in favour of the original poster.

You’d have to become a Sabres fan and your kids would have to marry their cousins. Sorry, those are just the rules

One way to create more cap space.

Trade Freddy and his 1 million dollar price tag for a cheaper goalie.

Freddy for Grebeur(50% retained)

Avs have cap space

I think you might have slept through the part that said I genuinely didn't know... And was asking. 🤷‍♂️

Asking questions on hockeybuzz that actually don't have an implied tone is risky business.

Those are mayors I'm assuming? Follow up question would be how much power does a mayor of an American city have with regards to policy implementation which might present such an outcome, as opposed to other levels of government?

Also... GENUINELY DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER.

No idea, I also didn't know, I was genuinely curious and looked it up. I do love that Red State favs like Kansas/Missouri/Alabama have Dem mayors of their largest cities.

Awesome place to retire, or just visit. It's not the East Coast, but has a similar charm.

I had the same response, and it made me genuinely question what I know about American politics. Looking at that list at face value I felt that probably 7 of those states went Republican in their last federal election, but I also felt like a few of those 7 have Democratic governors. As those cities would be major population centres in their respective states, bizarre to see all the cities Democratic.

(frank)ed if I know. 🤷‍♂️

Just following debates on policing in the US over the past few months, I’m not sure Mayors have a lot of direct control although it may differ city to city. In Minneapolis, the city council has taken control of the police budget to advance a major reform agenda that the mayor opposes.
