If Dubas can finagle the cap to get some decent defenseman and/ or future goalchie, then kudos to him. Leafs will be in good shape then. It'll be interesting to see who can do what in the off season.

since hotels and rinks are NHL-teams only, I assume they actually build walls (or fences) between the hotels and non-bubble + have quite a bit of security around?

Do we know that the Royal York is fully booked for the NHL? Almost 1,400 rooms. Players will be able to walk (block and a half) to rink. That’s probably more than they need since they are using two hotels.

It's silly to think that they're slam dunk losers against a team like Columbus, but their defensive ineptness is a big hill to climb against the Boston's and Tampa's. Those flaws have seemed impossible to shore up with this group.

coaches, support staff = additional 280 ?
300+ for the hotel staff.
then some press and other NHL staff.

Seems that the whole hotel needs to be fully booked in order to facilitate all to be in the same place for the whole playoffs. (family come in for final 2 rounds when 20 teams have left the hotel).

i am assuming as well that nobody is sharing rooms - to limit potential transmission.
