I'd like the Leafs organization to provide some clarity on whether - when they put (/permit) all team members in a 'Black Lives Matter' T-shirt for a nice photo-op and training session - they support the BLM Foundation Inc organization, or whether this is a statement to show that the organization/team is 'aware' of recent societal developments, and would like to show some support from black players in the NHL (and the rights of blacks around the world etc. etc.).

A t-shirt with 'TML against discrimination' would be much much more appropriate - although in the eyes of the marketing team definitely not as catchy as shouting 'BLM!'.

for those of you thinking this is not a serious issue - please read up on the history of communism, and how thought police is the first step of limiting the rights of individuals.
I find it creepy to see there is not 1 single player that feels comfortable to say 'I don't want to wear this shirt' (and I can bet you there are guys that actually think for themselves and do not think this is a good idea).

A sports organization should not be used for political goals - seems a very simple and logical observation/rule.

For now, I'm very disappointed in this organization because of this shallow messaging - I'd rather have Leafs put some effort in a programme to make sure hockey in the toronto area stays accesible for all youth players.

(look at English Premier League and players (including blacks) doing a 180 on BLM messaging).

I completely agree, 100%.

MLSEL is a communist organization without principles.

The question is: are you?

Will you demonstrate your morality by turning your back on the Leafs, or are you just another hypocrite sheep who complains on the internet but does nothing, allowing the forces of evil to win?

Are you a man of your word or not?

Your move, Max.

We will all be holding your feet to the fire on this one.

(frank) off. Jesus (frank)ing Christ.

Why are using Jesus name with curse words? I find that offensive.

You should follow your own advice...

Who gives a sh!t? I literally would not have known the Leafs wore some T shirts unless you were here b!tching about it.

If you don't like something, change the channel. It's really, really easy.

Of course, you won't. You will keep whining about how "dangerous" it is that some Leaf players wore a (frank)ing T shirt.

Does Max even like capitalism?

I'd hate to think he is a communist stooge who just accepts pinko viewpoints shoved down his throat.

Yes, but they are taking those options away, in the social media space, when so called open platforms ban people for their opinions. When alternate apps like gab, etc etc are delisted. When some sites aren't treated the same by platforms that benefit from legal protection as a platform, but then they start picking and choosing who can be on those sites.

You are the FASCIST. YOU are who you claim not to be.

You are trying to stifle people's voice and opinions on an opinion site. You are applying classic commie tactics using the site authority to come after people like stammer, max, jfj, Drexel, myself, etc etc...

You are so fragile...

- kaptaan

Yeah there’s a real list of MENSA members whose opinions society would bemoan the loss of if I ever heard one. Keep up the important work. We’re counting on you.

Ah man, some sites limit the amount of racist sh!t you can say and wont tolerate your bs.

That is tough.
Thoughts.

Das boot is a classic tho.

It’s on a ship, so not claustrophobic, but everything is done to specs, and it’s non-stop action. Plus, Tom Hanks.

Ok. That's fine. But I didn't see any of the guys I listed post anything racist.

I believe you said anyone who supports President Trump is a racist. Which is factually certifiably false.

You confuse calling out someone a racist with stifling opinion. I am not sure you understand exactly how communist or fascist governments stifled people’s voices but it generally went further than online comments or amusing memes.

If you want to be a heroic crusader, be prepared to take a little heat. If you’re the one who’s too fragile to take criticism for you idiocy, just keep you mouth shut. Your call snowflake.

I’m not crying about people stifling opinions. I’m just saying that you and Max are being called out for your idiotic opinions. Seems to me that you’re the one crying for a safe place.

“Oh, stop the communist persecution. You’re stifling opinion and taking away my rights.”
