Right now, $5 million per year for Freddie seems about right.
I wouldn't give him a raise, and I doubt any NHL GM would, either. - Atomic Wedgie
I can see him getting a raise, legit starters get paid on the open market. But... You make good points on the state of that market. So who knows. 🤷‍♂️ |

Gotta love Canadian politics.
I hated Stephen Harper - and probably my biggest beef with him was over the size of our census.
But seriously, I franking hated him. - Atomic Wedgie
I hated Harper to. Couldn't stand the ethics issues with his government. But now it's 2020 and we have not so much of a difference in this government.
How quickly people forget one when the other is in. Rinse, repeat. |

Is there a site where you can sort players by position and cap hit?
I'd like to see where Freddie stands relative to the other goalies in the league. |

If there were, I'd wager it would be some kind of site where you can find all kinds of contract and salary cap information.
Hypothetically |

I haven’t really hated any Canadian politician. You never really see anything here as vile as the Republicans in the States. The closest I’ve come is probably Doug Ford. Papa Pierre drove me crazy cause I worked in the House trying to bring him down and he was an arrogant wiener but he was smart as poop and there were things about this vision of the country that I respected. |

I saw Mulroney speak at a rubber chicken luncheon a year or so ago.
Crowd was obviously polite and supportive, and his intro really pushed how he was the first guy to really stand up to South Africa. OK, I'll be polite and clap too.
About 30 minutes into his speech, the arrogance just came seeping through, and you were reminded that this guy took bribes and got away with it, and then smugly laughed when he knew he wasn't going to be held accountable.
Sadly, I wasn't close enough to hit him with a tossed shoe. |

Which teams are in a position to a) have the cap space to make a $10 millon/year offer and b) actually have that money to pay him?
Fiscally speaking, winter is coming.
I don't know if NHL owners will even want to play next year if there is no vaccine.
I'm willing to bet a pizza and case of beer there is no AHL season next year.
I'm not saying I know what's going to happen with contracts next year.
I'm saying I don't think anyone knows. - Atomic Wedgie
Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE received fast-track designation for two of their experimental COVID-19 vaccines,
This is very good news. Along with the other progress being made I see us back in the seats by the start of next season..

Wonder how much he got paid. He was sure corrupt as (frank). That was when the Tories finally decided that they were sick of just being an opposition party and wanted to run poop. They got their guy in Mulroney. |

In Germany in the Black Forrest there is apparently a hunt going on for a real-life John J Rambo going on.. He disarmed 4 policemen and escaped with their weapons into the woods.
I wonder if they'll televise the search for him if he's still out there tomorrow morning.. |

If everything goes perfectly they hope to have regulatory approval and be in a position to have 100 million produced by the end of the year. The company went on to say that priority distribution for the world’s almost 8 billion people would go to NHL season ticket holders. |

I can't wait to go down to the Platinum Lounge, and get my shot in the 1st intermission while sipping wine and eating sushi.
Just kidding - I'll go during play in the second or third period. |
